The dude needed almost 50 low blows (Should have been DQ’d) against Loma and came in how many pounds past the weight limit?? That ‘win’ should have been changed to a NC.

With Salido’s wins over Loma, Mikey Garcia and Juanma, and his schooling of JMM in the late rounds, historians of the future will one day ask, “Was he a man, or a god?”

Doesn't take much for some of you to be triggered. lol

Regardless of how some of you feel about him the man has a hell of a resume.

Definition of a rugged warrior who'll do whatever it takes to win. A future HoF fighter, whether you love or hate the man.

I've never bought into the 'whatever it takes' spiel people put out to defend cheaters. This is sport and thus athletes should be sporting.

Yes. Still have to follow rules (Even if a bit vague). It's called sportsmanship.

Siri never backed down from anybody. You always knew you were getting his best effort when he was in the ring. Sadly, that effort often involved fouls, many of which were unnecessary.

I was at his fight with Vargas. Unreal. Probably the best fight I've ever attended. And he kept it clean that night.

Guys like Harry Greb, Sandy Saddler, Muhammad Ali, Evander Holyfield, Bernard Hopkins, Andre Ward, Floyd Mayweather, and so many others have bent the rules time and time again and have gotten away with it. Yes it's a sport but rough tactics have gone a long way and it's not going away any time soon.

And I don't celebrate their dirty tactics. Too many fans make allowances for their favourites IMO.

I keep telling people, the fights are out there for anyone who wants to be the greatest of all time. You just have to take the fights and not be a prima donna playing games. If Salido or Cotto had actually won all of their fights, they would be legendary. As it is, Salido won enough of them to be considered a very good and very underrated fighter.

The best action fighter since Gatti. One of the most exciting of all time. If we had a p4p for most entertaining boxers he'd be on the Mount Rushmore with guys like Bobby Chacon, Carmen Basilio, and Matthew Saad Muhammad.
