old or not, its going to add weight to his legacy. fury was being compared to atg's, for beating an old wlad. thats his whole career right there. now because its bam, his opponents who arent prime dont count. its ridiculous. and the people who do that arent even self aware enough to know that theyre doing it. if bam were a brit or eastern euro, he would be a god around here.
his critics are going to criticize him no matter what, he cant worry about them. he jumps up 2 divisions to fight a respected champion on a weeks notice, and now the champ was old and bam is really a bigger guy than the guy 2 divisions above him. its frickin ridiculous nonsense from ridiculous people. as long as he continues to do what he said hes going to do, his skill level will be undeniable.

Chocolatito's legacy is already sealed. He's not obligated to fight Bam. Fury doesn't even come close to having Choco's ATG resume. If Choco decides to fight Bam this year before retiring then so be it but he also doesn't lose anything if he fights anyone else at the tail end of his career. Bam has better options ahead of him so he should let the old legend finish his career in his own terms.

i know he doesnt need bam, but even in a loss, it will add to his legacy. when they rattle of his resume 30 years from now, they will say he fought in the fast lane. resume filled with thoroughbreds. hes been there and done that. and like i said, bam isnt about to beat him up, he understands the situation and hes a stand up guy. and who knows, he may well give the kid a hard run for his money where its tight.
i just think think its a win all around for choco. he isnt expected to win, and he gets the biggest purse available to him. as long as he isnt hurt in the fight, its all gravy. then he can have his win in nicaragua to bow out of the spotlight.

Sad normally he was in discussion last time for Phumelela Cafu for the WBO Super Flyweight championship.

Maybe he recognize that he can do the weight again or he know that he will lose.

In any case what a career for him ! Definetely a hall of fame !

I think Estrada will be retired too and Srisaket Sor Rungvisai says that it's his last year in boxing.

I will remember always about the fourth kings : Cuadras, SSR, Chocolatito and Estrada, they gives us epics fights !

I know that the manager of Junto Nakatani just speak about him last days : https://ringmagazine.com/en/news/nakatani-trainer-confident-chocolatito-doesn-t-stand-a-chance

I really hope he will fight Phumelela Cafu or Srisaket Sor Rungvisai for a third fight.
