If Erik Morales were to come out of retirement and fight Joan Guzman, would you be interested in the fight? Who do you think would win?

Very few of the greats come back and beat the "new champ on the block".

    I think Guzman would win.

I thought Morales beat Diaz, but he needs to stay retired.

That's how I see it too . . . but officially he lost. We can't complain that's another closely contested fight and that's how boxing goes.

    . . . back to the topic . . . I will still give Eric an above average chance of beating Guzman . . . at 135 not 130.

Are you nuts? Did you watch the Raheem fight a few years ago? It's 2008 now. Imagine this shot version of Morales fighting a defensive fighter that's on a higher level than Raheem, with a much better offense. How the hell would Morales give Guzman anything but an extremely easy fight?

Morales and Barrera both need to stay retired. They have given more great fights to boxing than anybody I can think of during the last 2 decades.

He should rematch Diaz...a fight I had him winning by 2-3 rounds.

Erik needs to stay retired and enjoy life after boxing...he was a great champ and gave us boxing fans tons of memories

Morales vs Pacman 1, when Erik switched southpaw in the 12th...:yikes

If Erik comes back now he will get beat up...and I dont think he will be able to make 130 lb anyway

I too thought Morales beat Diaz, but Diaz was made for Morales at this stage in Morales career:good

Guzman is entering his prime and would beat todays Morales quite easily and i am a BIG Morales fan

Did anybody remember seeing Erik in that WWE interview that was posted a few weeks ago? He's balooned.

He's letting himself go, and for the sake of his health he needs to stay retired.
