Apparently Ajose Olusegun and Tshifhiwa Munyai are both fighting on the undercard of Danny Williams v John McDermott at Goresbrook Leisure Centre next month. No opponents have yet been announced but it looks like a good card.

Glad to see Munyai back , real quality operator .
It will be important to get Olusegun a decent opponent to try and show he is World Class aswell as try and force some better fighters .

I think Paul McCloskey could do a number on Nigel Wright and if he does it will look bad on Olusegun who is claiming World Champions are ducking him despite struggling at times at domestic level .

I hope Olesugen gets a good opponent. Someone who is at least a top 15 rated fighter or a former world champ. His career is passing him by.

I did not think Munyai would be fighting on these shores again. Hopefully he has a decent opponent lined up because he has looked good while he has been away and has faced a couple of good guys. No Brit will be be able to help him on his way to a title bout unless he is looking for a filler fight.

I also hope Olusegun gets a decent test as it would be a shame if his career is allowed to stagnate. Am really looking forward to see Munyai again and hope he also gets a decent opponent.

Martin Power is fighting on the same bill, and I bet he is higher up the card even though he was smashed by Munyai.

Didn't Munyai struggle against Ramagoadi when he fought two weight classes up?

Is he only sucessful at Bantam due to his massive size over the others?

moving up was a mistake. i don't know how much time he had to prepare for the move up but i doubt it was enough.

no doubt the size advantage helps but he is a good boxer as well.

On boxrec he is only 5ft 9in which is hardly massive. He had a decent win against a respectable opponent last time out, so we will see if that Ramogoadi fight was just blip.

We've seen guys like Ramgoadi and Hamidi make a lot of good fighters look bad. Didn't like the look of Munyai that night. Maybe it was motivation, weight, god knows. Hopefully he can flfil is promise.

5ft 9 Is Insanely huge for a Bantamweight, there usually between 5ft 3 and 6 at most.

He is very big. Not sure how long he can keep making that, but its a big advantage.

I take your point but I think there is more to him than his height. I like the way he switched his attacks from head to body. Looked to have something about him. Maybe he was just bullying smaller men. Guess time will tell.

Where is Olu when you need some inside information on the Brit forum's favourite fighter Ajose Olusegun.

Don't see why not really - Bradley put Witter away pretty handily, but Junior was nowhere near his best. In fact, it was probably the worst performance of his career.

He was trying to get a Witter fight for Olusegun - why not pursue that now for the Commonwealth strap. Witter always claims that nobody is willing to fight him.......

Perhaps Frank feels that Ajose can only get motivated for 'big' fights - a WBC challenge is certainly that.

According to Boxrec (not always reliable I know) Ajose Olusegun will be facing Isaac Quartey in a 8 rounder on the undercard.

Looks like he hasn't fought since 2006.

    Record - W4 (KO 0) L4 (KO 0) D0 = 8
