    Shades of Hagler Hearns

I agree though I think Horn is in this fight. Crawford's biggest opponent to date, it will be very interesting

I don’t know what you watched that night but I saw a bigger guy out boxing PAC. It was my first time seeing the Hornet and he impressed me TBH. Did he foul? Yep but in boxing I always say return the foul and man up until the ref catches you.
PAC and Freddy, as I did, slept on this kid and payed highly for it that day. I also watched this on a Spanish channel so I have no clue how the fight was called but I scored it for the Hornet

    You were seeing 2 things:
    • A gigantic man fouling the crap out of a tiny "welterweight" all night long resulting in a "confused" looking Pacquiao (probably where your idea that Pacquiao was outboxed came from)
    • Accrediting excessive points to a guy who was so unheralded that the fact that he was standing after twelve was awarded the dreaded "event win"

I'm obsessed with Mocha... These are a regular in my cupboard and if I'm ever at a cafe or Starbucks I pick a mocha or mocha frappuccino.

Funny how some of these guys talk up Loma for fighting the bigger Linares, but say nothing about Pac fighting the larger Horn, who he had staggering all over the ring at one point. So let me be the first to praise, not only Loma for stepping up and taking on a bigger man but, Pac as well. Much respect to both men. They exemplify how a champ should conduct himself in the sport of boxing.

It's pretty obvious why. It's an old narrative and is the Pacquiao norm. Marquez aside (even that's debatable given Marquez's dramatic physical transformation), Pacquiao has been fighting much bigger men for over a decade now. We can pretty much assume that bar Lomachenko, Pacquiao will be the smaller man in the ring against anyone he faces.

He will be smaller against Matthysse. If a Mikey Garcia fight happened, he too will be the smaller man again.

Pacquiao's an extraordinary fighter and the GOAT.

I think Horn has the style to give guys like Thurman and Garcia problems.
