Hatton vs Lazcano. Hatton by 10th round stoppage. I would expect Hatton to try and put on a show for his fans. Hatton will give us a few rounds so he can clear the ring rust and then he will go for the stoppage. Malinfaggi vs N'Dou. N'Dou is still a decent opponent and Paulie is not great so an upset could be on the cards. However anything but a Malinfaggi UD win would be a surprise. Watson vs Hatton. I really like Watson but he will have alot to do to impress the judges in this one, we may get a robbery but I hope not. Watson by SD. Wallace vs Moran. I have not seen too much of Moran but people say he is pretty good. I have seen Wallace a couple of times and he is a decent pro but does not have anything special. Moran by UD. C'MON Wallace. Facey vs McDonagh. Facey is getting old now but still puts in good hard performances. McDonagh should come out with the win by UD. Moore vs Herrera. Moore by KO. Moore will be too good for the import and will probably want to make a statement to his European counterparts. McEwan vs Sanchez. McEwan has been touted alot and looks to have been given a decent test. I doubt we will get an upset but maybe we will get a stoppage. McEwan by KO. Nurse vs Carey. I saw Nurse make his debut and he really impressed. Hopefully he will be more relaxed this time and be able to add abit of power. Carey can still be abit awkward so Nurse by UD. Davis vs Mougharbel. I do not know much about either so I will go for Abdul by UD. I am not going and I am not paying the £15 either so I will have to rely on what you guys say about the bouts. If Hatton had been facing a better opponent I would have been very excited about this show. Very good undrecard but disapointing top of the bill.
Looks like a really good night of boxing, looking forward to seeing Craig McEwan, he's pretty highly rated. Jamie Moore fight will probably be a ******* aswell, I'd love to see him rematch Matthew Macklin that was a fantastic fight.
PPV for that card? , you have to laugh. Malignaggi already has a comfortable win against a shot Ndou, imagine now.
Unless Paulie has slipped a helluva lot he easily beats N'dou who couldnt figure out his style at all the last time they fought. Ibelieve Paulie beat N'dou better than anyone else had before him! Facey beats Mcdonagh on points IMO... tough one to call though jamie wins but not an easy ngihts work after 7 months out (and just as long before that). The lad can clearly box after pushing Ben tackie to within a point 2 years ago!
I think that was a possibiltiy until macklin moved to the US. Both fighters have mentioned that they'd give the other the first shot if they won a euro title. Also, rumour is Jamie fights in dublin in 5 weeks. Imagine Moore Macklin in Dublin sometime later this year!?
The ref didn't help N'Dou last time, he kept splitting the fighters too early (it was Eddie Cotton the same ref who tried his best to help Tyson beat Lewis). I'm surprised PM is taking the fight TBH.
I would love to see Moore vs Macklin II - the first was perhaps the best British title fight of the past 20 years?
Thats a mightily bold statement, Im sure it'd be in the shortlist though.... I was lucky enough to be at ringside, superb.
Hatton fight after though, in MSG... the meal ticket. Also, in hsi last fight he fought in front of 4 people and a dog (basically). The guy needs to get noticed.
No real excitement factor in the two top fights (the only world title fights on the bill) Therefore, in the PPV sense, a **** bill.
I think below the top two fights the bill looks pretty goos and has fights that I am very interested in but due to the lack of quality opposition in the Hatton and Malinfaggi fights I will not be spending my £15. I would have much rater have just got on with watching Hatton vs Malinfaggi and then a domestic fighter such as Ajose or Morrison going up against N'Dou and Lazcano. I still think Moore will try and impress and that he will get the KO. Facey vs McDonagh looks close but McDonagh edges it for me, a very interesting match up. I would love for one of the top two fights to have an upset in it. N'Dou has a better chance than Lazcano.
