Exciting fighter ( in my opinion ), great body shots in his early days, local lad, funny guy, working class hero, clever chap, rich ****er, fat ****, underchived a bit , good for the sport, british household name ,undisputed LWW champ ( for a bit ), got slightly embarrased against the best but still had a great career and the boy done good.
Just wish he'd lose a bit of weight cos he looks a bit silly.

 

If it wasnt for Hatton, i wouldnt be on this site now...

Best moment has to be watchin Hatton Tszyu in a Cyprus bar at six in the morning smashed out of my face. His greatest moment and fight by far.

 

Mate first time i ever saw Hatton. I was 15 in my living room with my mate. We were screaming at the tv for Hatton - never enjoyed a fight so much and i'll never forget it.

Ricky Hatton has got a new generation into boxing same as Nigel Benn, Chris Eubank ,Lennox Lewis, Frank Bruno and Naseem Hamed did when i was younger. Hatton has been great for british boxing and thats why he has so many knockers, jealous folk.
He wasn't the best ever but he had the kind of style i respect, never understood people saying he was a boring fighter and the guy was talented. You don't get to fill venues in Vegas if you don't have something a bit special.
