Audley is a pantomine villian.

You can say what you want to about the guy, but he is a draw and he keeps you talking about him.

He did well tonight, from an English perspective I hope he can push on now and start achieving something in comparison to the talent he has.

This is where you have made yourself to sound stupid my man. I'm not nuthugging him i'm simply stating that he isn't a 'Bad Advert' for boxing. If fans wanna pay to watch him then thats up to them.

 

I agree that no boxer should be hated with malice (unless he cheats with loaded gloves for example). However I can unsterstand the booing Audley gets and the reasons for it, particularly given bragging, his hstory on bbc and his fighting (or lack of fighting) style.

I would also add that his role as the pantomine villan keeps him as an attraction in this sport. Boxing fans still wanna see him fight whether win or lose and that benefits him financially.

Fair play for the Sprott comments, did he really have to make them though?

Also, why is he now taking a break? He fought 3 tomato cans who all fell over the first time he land a clean shot.

My view of A-Force hasnt changed at all after tonight. He still has plenty of skills but still doesnt have the courage to execute them in the ring.

Whether you like him or not is up to each and every single person. but claiming he is a bad advert for the sport or claiming he has ripped people off is daft and just show people letting there obvious hatred get the better of them when posting

 

I find the way he ridiculed a far inferior opponent in the ring during an incredibly dull and unconvincing performance disgusting but thats just me.

 

Fair enough Essex but do you consider him to be the modern day equivalent of 'Dick Turpin' ??? Turning up to boxing evenings with the sole intention of losing to take the **** out of the fans ???

the only gripe i have with Harrison is the damage he partly played in boxing's prospects of being on terestrial which is almost irreparable now, everytime you try and criticise the bbc for their disgraceful stance people will have this automatic response "oh but can you blame them they got burnt with Harrison" so they decide to punish all the fans and other fighters for it then?

btw i think people boo and dislike him because of all the hype, expectation and the delusions of grandeur bordering on megalomania and the fact that people who don't really understand the difference between the amateur and pros and can't judge a fighters ability for themselfs were basically fed the line from the beginning that Harrison has so much talent and when he failed the reason given was he has no heart that's why they regurgitate it so much. I'm one who saw the flaws of Harrison from the get go so my expectation of him were not that great but other people's were and they'll continue to tell you how naturally talented he is....i'm awaiting the usual "they don't give gold medals away" BS. analyse his fightgame and you'll realise he was never good enough, bottom line!
