Here here, I was happy for him tonight, even though I've boo'd him in the past. Fair play to him.

I think people are entitled to boo this guy when he's talked all sorts of delusional rubbish, time and time again, yet never delivered. I'm sure he's earnt some new found respect tonight, next time out he might get a better reception.

What I can never understand for the life of me is why a young lad like DeGale gets boo'ed in his first ever pro fight that he wins every minute of every round in.

Degale is a totally different prospect, that kid has hunger and pedigree and is going to win a world title:deal

But....................... TFFP - Surely the people who are booing him have payed to go and watch him fight ???? Apart from tonight, I cannot remember him fighting anyone barring Rogan with a big enough following to generate such noise. These people going to watch him and booing are basically paying him

And for the record I dont really agree with booing a boxer on any platform. If the man has a big enough heart to get in the ring in the first place, he gets my respect

I don't think people seriously hate him, its more pantomine stuff. They are hardly lynching him on the streets. But I can understand it because he's let people down time and time again, and is generally not a very humble or likeable person that admits to his mistakes. People can accept a loser if he's graceful, but Audley continues the delusions.

I don't like to hear booing during the fight either. During the entrances or whatever fine, but during a fight there should be a bit of respect. It really gets me down, particularly on American shows, unless its a bar room brawl you hear booing.

I am glad Harrison won tonight :good

For those who still hate Harrison for depriving us of boxing on the BBC: It happened a long time ago, are people not allowed forgiveness? He wasn't the only person to blame for it either, who handed him the cash to fight bums?

He may be a loudmouthed delusional character, but if he still believes in himself to win a world title then let him believe, its not doing any harm to the sport.

Harrison has no chance of winning a world title. Plus, you need to re-watch all of his fights and then provide your opinion, but it really is a case of you had to have been there.

No your right mate. He probably infact definately won't win a title. But I think all these people blaming him soley for the lack of boxing on BBC are a bit harsh. I'm sure there was lots of factors involved and Audley was just one of them

    Did I say he did?

Plus, I will make sure I will only provide opinions of fighters that I have seen live in every fight they have had screened now, because I really didn't think my age was a problem when making judgements of people - obviously it is.

Audley took on the BBC deal 9 years ago.. its been done to death , get over it.. BBC chose to turn off to boxing for its own bull**** reasons and Audley was not the sole reason. Audley got to a high standard and boxed at times under a lot of pressure. He is at times super cautious, and sometimes unappealing but he has always tried to pick up the pieces and tried to please.. He did a great job tonight and it was poignant because Danny was all obsessed in just bashing Audley and took his eye off the ball for Carl Baker to sideswipe him...... Booing any boxer sickens me , Audley is a lot wiser now and if he never laces gloves on again he has become a better man now through the things he has come through in the last 8 years.. I am happy for him..

I wish Audley hadn't got up from the knockdown he gave himself tonight, that would've been ****ing classic. He didn't even slip or get hit, he just hit the deck like a sack of taties for no reason at all. It's as if his ego had collapsed upon itself.

excuse me but you're wrong. I never thought he had the tools or the talent to become a top heavy, never mind a top elite pro. Check my posts on his early fights.
The guy was a massive fraud from the get go, conning the general public, and for that he deserves all the stick and ridicule he gets these days. That's the price he must pay now.
