What people think and actual results are NOT the same all the time. But please, run with the win on paper. It's good enough for the EBS boxing fans of today it seems.
the fighter in your avatar was gasping for breath after 3 rounds with Chisora, you think he has better conditioning than Adamek? he would not win
Subjective, but with previous fights behind them. You understand that don't you? Really, who gives a **** what most here think of Adamek anyway. The hatred on him is incredibly irrational. ESB is a boxer popularity site, not an actual boxing site w/ knowledge behind posts.
And BTW I don't give a **** about the Ring or where Haye is ranked. The Ring isn't some form of divine wisdom, it's a magazine that does what it has to in order to make money, and is owned by promoters. Ring magazine rankings mean nothing. No more than Boxrec rankings. Maybe Boxrec should start issuing a belt too? Until the Ring are in the position of having to sanction and organise fights, rather than living off the work of others, their opinions will be no more than what they are. A magazine article. Like a best dressed award from a woman's magazine. Or Kids Choice from Nickelodeon.
And you thin the hatred on Haye is "rational"? But like I said ranking are subjective. And most people I think would base them on more recent fights. We have a different way of ranking fighters.
if it makes you happy, keep making Haye the #3 HW in the world who hasn't beaten a SINGLE top 10 HW :good
Did you see that anywhere in my post? Or is this just a competition to you, people hate on Haye, so you MUST return fire and hate on Adamek to even it out. Adamek has a very few fans in comparison to Haye, and the hating on Haye is from a lot of K bro fans too. ****in A....do you guys ALWAYS have to make this about 'sides' to root? Yes, I am much more realistic and fair with mine, while you 'word dress' yours to fit your ideals.
Preach on! :good While I think Ring's ranking are better then any other ABC, they are just a magazine.
I think the rankings are better than the ABC's too. But they should be, the Rings job is much easier. The ABC's are farcical, but it's still much harder to have to legislate, enforce mandatories, deal with other org's champs, than sit around eating doughnuts and picking fantasy lists that ultimately achieve nothing.
sweet hypocrisy there. You say Valuev had a "bad back" (I dont remember this) yet forget to mention Adamek (questionably) beat a one armed eddie chambers? and what makes fat Arreola a good win!?
