I do not like Ring either.

Max Kellerman said, on ESPN2 several years ago, that he would never recognize the WBO title as long as a Klitschko held that title!

I'll go by educated consensus rankings, the Ring these days cannot rank anything even remotely correctly.

Wladimir Klitschko at 55 is the final straw of ridiculousness.

    I disagree tremendously.

They are not perfect, but they sure are the best out there.

There will always be people who can't be pleased no matter what.

the Ring magazine has also fallen........ man this was the last boxing magazine of credible boxing information, for so long Nat Fleisher was the editor creator etc........a man of Charecter and depth.

Then Avid Boxing Historians took over we had great articles etc. But The Ring was a magazine founded by a guy who loved boxing who gave unbiased and uncorrupted guidance to the avid fan.

Alphabet soup, Hype job, the Ring would call em the as they saw em now its another propaganda rag controlled and owned.

    The alphabet boys are shite.

The Ring is usually pretty good with rankings.

Boxrec I feel is the best, but (this is a big but!) it takes too much notice of undefeated records, and makes a knee jerk after big wins/losses.

Not really, Nat Fleisher was very biased towards certain fighters.(Old time fighters in particular) Great historian? yes Unbiased? no.

some of the the p4p rankings are questionable. I thought that pavlik should have been higher. But generally, the articles are still greatand the analysis (most of it) are still credible, so i think i have to disagree

but i have to admit, I got a very bad feeling when golden boy purchased the ring
