    hall of fame criteria includes mainstream popularity...he deserves to be in the hall of fame for what he has done for the sport as a boxer

    I'll agree with most of that, only thing that's wrong is that Castillo was most definitely shot in the Hatton fight, and there was plenty of people saying it beforehand, you only had to look at his previous performance against N'Goujdo where he was gifted a decision. Hattons definitely HOF worthy though, and i don't even like the guy

    so many people get into the HOF these days I would say yes.

    Is Hatton a top 100 fighter no.

    That let anyone in now anyway...so I couldnt care less. That particular organization is gradually losing creditability with me.

    if Only the best of best got included in the HOF Hatton wouldnt have a chance in hell but its not so he will probably get in.

    As has been said; his accomplishments are borderline, but the fact he brought real mainstream interest when boxing is becoming an alternative sport is not insignificant.
