It's the best that we have. If you wanna know who is the champion of each division, check the Ring ratings and you will probably find out... 130: Vacant 135: JMM 140: Pacquiao 147: Vacant 154: Vacant 160: Pavlik 168: Vacant 175: Vacant 200: Adamek +200: Wladimir Klitschko
Exactly. The corrupt sanctioning bodies should be ignored and this should be the one and only title boxing recognizes.
I just gave you an example back of an inactive champion back at page 1 you forgetful tool. Im telling which I prefer out of a champion title, you said yours, I question you about it and you are PMSing about it worse than a spoiled rich 15 year old girl. Im stating the flaws in it and you are taking offense like as though I just gave your mom a facial. I hope the door doesnt hit you on your way out...I lied I hope it does. Comeback when you dont easily put your foot in your mouth.
It's certainly the best world title that boxing has at the moment although certainly has some flaws. It has the base to be the legitimate world championship title though. Im not sure what the solution is to guarantee that a the ring champion fight regularly enough against good enough opposition to still have earnt the right to remain champion with stripping him though.
In order to win The Ring title the #1 and #2 or #1 and #3 must fight each other, all the Vacant titles show you that they do not. But I do think The Ring title is the more ligit one of the "big 5".
Mosley - Margarito should have been for the Ring Belt at 147. Their failure to understand why that made sense (or to tweak their rankings to make it make sense) was disappointing. Even if it is meant to separate "The Man" from the rest, that is too many vacant titles to be very relevant at all. I don't see how that's of much value to the casual fan, it's just going to teach them to get familiar with the ABCs the way the rest of us are. It might mean a little more thanks to being less blatantly corrupt, but it's just another belt.
