    Curry would not stop Palomino.

Nah, I don't think Curry packs enough power to stop Palamino.

Steward picking Chavez against Duran is interesting....he knew both very well.
I can´t see Liston stopping Holmes, but Clancy got Holmes...not surprising to see Pacheco picking Liston though....

I'm not even sure Duran beats Chavez at 135 to 142. Call me silly.

Not silly at all, I think you´d be underestimating Chavez if you have said otherwise.
Actually, I would say Chavez equals Duran in the skill departament, call me silly.

Negative. Offensively, Chavez is up there with anyone, he was a complete fighter. He could box his way in, he could sit on your chest, his combinations were off the ****ing scale, anyway he had to break a man down he could.

But clearly Duran is the better boxer of the two, and hits harder. I think Duran was more multi-faceted, and has advantages in this bout.

Duran was the slicker of the two. I think that's the difference here.

Caught my eye too. At least they had Hagler going the distance I guess.

    I had that issue.

I remember Steward said that Duran was vunerable to lefthook counters and he felt Chavez could be effective with that.

Skill is inextricable from ability in a sense. It's a very loaded and complex. So no, it's not crazy. But if we're talking about what a fighter brings, I think Duran's got more tools.
