I don't think having Cerdan beating Hagler is bad at all. I mean, Hagler wasn't invincible, and I think Cerdan's better than any middleweight Hagler faced.

Armstrong knocking out Duran in 5, and Marciano knocking out Dempsey in 3 or 4 ..... those seem like bad picks to me.

Cerdan looks very good on film, and Hagler's boxing ability, and ring smarts were not the best.

I agree with most of the picks. The one I disagree with the most is Johnny Bos, who picked Spinks over Holyfield.

I remember this series also including Holmes vs Liston. Two guys (I don't remember who) picked Holmes; one guy -- I think it was Ernie Terrell -- picked Liston.

This would have been a nice fight. I often think Galindez is a forgotten great light heavy.

I remember this matchup in the mags. I always felt Galindez was the better fighter. One badass dude.

Marciano vs. Dempsey would not go to the cards. it's a KO by either one. Which one I can't say with absolute certainty though.

I'll give you my take on these. Starting with Pernell vs Ortiz, Pernell on pts
    then Hagler on points close
    Galindez on points
    Gomez tko late
    Dempsey tko
    Olivares pts
Napoles pts (Benny Georgino full of **** as usual)
Griffith leads on pts until losing by tko late rounds
win or lose no way Armstrong stops Duran
    Gavilan W pts Benitez
Holyfield W 15 Spinks becuz Evander, who I am not a fan of, has more heart

Sure they were. that is one reason why Hagler was voted best p4p fighter four straight years by everyone
