Would you switch any of the names around? Is anybody missing from the list in your opinion?

I'm a bit curious about Denis Boytsov myself. He's a real question mark since he hasn't fought enough talent and his chin has yet to be really tested.

I think it's fair to say that Sugar Valuev is a bit low on the list.

But to be honest he hasn't fought in quite a while.

    i'd have it

    wlad
    vitali
    haye
    solis
    povetkin
    valuev
    chagaev
    chambers
    adamek
    thompson.

so yeah my list is quite different.

i cannot believe solis isn't in their top ten. i favour him to beat vitali and thought he was viewed as a concensus top contender.

i also think adamek is a bit high; valuev and chambers are a bit low for my liking.

the problem with this forum is that loads of adamek huggers will attack my list now because of where i place him. the truth is his best victory is a close victory vs arreola. everyone else in the top ten, bar solis and thompson, have much better heavyweight resumes iirc. i rank solis so high because i just don't see anyone beating him.

as for thompson, i think stylistically he is much better h2h than arreola. and although he gave a poor showing vs wlad, he is clearly one of the top boxers today IMO.

perhaps also i have chag a bit high, but he is a proven top heavyweight and his only loss is still to wlad, so until he starts losing i find it hard to drop him from his well earned position.

I am on board with that list for the most part. I also like thompson on that list ahead of Arreola. Other than that it looks good in terms of names and ranking.

yeah i think thompson matches up well h2h vs most top tens. not saying he'd win or be a favourite, but noone is having an easy night.

There's a lot of good points so far:

Solis should be on the list

Thompson should be on the list

Valuev is too low on the list

Well, Valuev is inactive for >1 year, so he could actually remain off the list until he fights again.

Dimitrenko is fine at #10, with either Solis or Thompson leapfrogging into that vacant #9 spot (or both of them taking 9 and 10 and bumping Dimitrenko to 11)

Derek Chisora is somewhere around 15 or so in my opinion. Still, an unbeaten fighter with a European/British belt or something and good enough for a voluntary defense

I sware this is the weakest division on boxing.
Eddie chambers on a top anything list? Smh.
