I think people are underestimating Foreman's strength, overestimating Cotto's power. I'm picking Foreman and it has nothing to do wiht Cotto being past his best or not. [yt]FWOspRYA18k[/yt] that's whitaker btw
Foreman would have to win 9 rounds to get an MD. He's going to have to really dominate to escape with a win.
the opposite for me.. if the fight will be close.. i think Yuri will get a nod... Foreman is presented as the saviour of jewish boxing.. you don't want ur hero loosing to a shot/worn-out fighter.. ryt??... I really hope Cotto will KTFO Yuri... WAAAR COTTO!!! :bbb:bbb
If Cotto was a 12 round volume puncher, I would give him a chance against Foreman. But Cotto can't fight like that, so what's he gonna do? Overpower a JrMW who is much bigger than him? Outbox a taller and more light-footed boxer? Counter a guy who stays on the outside all night? Cotto's management should never have accepted this fight, especially when Cotto's last fight was fought at 145.
This is pure fight hype, Graham Houston who is excellent in predictions has Cotto the favorite but he believes Foreman takes it. I believe Foreman is getting the chance of his life at the big stage but he's gonna freeze in the Stadium. Just like Michael Jennings, he's gonna be stopped.
A lot of people seem to be jumping on the 'lets be different and pick Foreman' bandwagon without backing it up with much logic. There is a good argument for Yuri to win but i still like Cotto. Boxing scene picked Cotto
Fair enough. I don't deny you could be right here. Obviously we'll see tonight. I feel Cotto's power will be the determining factor tonight.
