Another interesting fact, go back and look how many of them were world champions at one point.

If you are trying to prove that Wlad has fought in the worst HW era of all time, congratulations

And whose fault is that? Wlad for training his balls off before every fight regardless of opponent and takes on all comers? or the fatass americans who seem to believe they deserve to be champ becuase there an american heavyweight, or loud mouth brits who talk themselves into paydays and care nothing about there fans.

I honestly cant see how the Klitschkos get blamed for fighting in a weak division :-(

Forgot to mention these are just Wlads wins. I left off the losses to Brewster and Sanders. If anyone knows the rankings on the exact date of the fights, post them up.

I'm actually trying to find facts. Specifically whether Wlad has fought the best available opponents, regardless of strength of the era.

aparently if lewis was still boxing and in his prime the division would still be better and his mere presence would make the current (bad crop) better than they are

Sorry for the badly worded request. I knew the the info you found (thanks anyway). I meant if anyone knew the ranking "on the day" of the wins he had.

I'm pretty sure it will be similar (or identical) to the

Wlad has probably fought a higher ranked group of guys consistently than any heavy other than Ali and perhaps Louis

Well there's certainly many top ten fighters he didn't fight each year  .But whether he ducked them is just an opinion usually based on if the poster likes Wlad or not.

:patsch My apologies I thought that is what you ment. From what I couldd see neither man was ranked at the end of the year prior to fighting Wlad and each got there ranking from their win over him that year

Yeah I just added the losses to the first post so that people can see the timeline. I agree it looks like they earned their ranking by beating Wlad.

When I first started the list I was looking at the rankings in the year of the fight but it's clear the previous years rankings are more accurate.
