Very true!!! PW was training for Cintron before Cintron pulled out of the fight with 18 days left to the fight! In this case PW has probably the best sparring partner available to him in Quintana!!!!

1. Quintana is a crafty lefty
2. Quintana has fought PW twice so he's familiar with him
3. The most important one is that Quintana already beat PW!!!!!!!!

When you have a sparring partner like that all bases are covered!!!

 

I used to be one of the biggest Oscar del la Hoya fans until he's become a promoter and seen the way Golden Boy has been dealing!!

After watching that Guzman vs Fuenka fight I have no more respect for Golden Boy and there style of business and it dosen't seem to far fetched that GBP feels that PW is a threat to them and their fighters!!!

 

I really don't understand the hate Williams gets. The guy is willing to fight anyone from 147-160 fights in a crowd pleasing style is good for boxing but gets hated on. Williams should be praised in boxing and not hated.

**** it, I'll take Martinez by Decision. Obviously I'm going out on a limb, but the Williams hype is overwhelming and totally unjustified, IMO. Then again if he does get beat people will most likely try to talk up Martinez as the next big thing.
