    Yeah, it's said that his management kept re-assuring Burley's people that he was off back to lighweight...after the next defene...and the next one...and so on.

    Armstrong, LaMotta, Burley, Jenkins, Jannazzo, Cochrane, Davis, Angott.


    Under his own ruleset, i'd cautiously take him to beat Mayweather.

    What other solid contenders have wins over some of the greatest fighters in hisotry during their physical primes? Can you think of anyone who compares in terms of contender status and ATG's vanquished?

    Yes because the 50th best fighter of the 30s is definately as good as the best fighter of the 00s, everything in blk and white from the 30s is awesome, ie Hitler

    ever see aaron pryor fight? forget the cheating against arguello, that was the trainer and pryor would've won anyway.

    he would overwhelm mayweather and outpoint him, have you read the article? solid points and all the guys mentioned are atgs.

    Doesn´t matter if someone is the 50th best of his era or the second best of his. What matters is resume. And Mayweather´s isn´t really better than Zivic´s.

    And that´s the point. Even beeing mentioned alongside and considered a challenge for those fighters is an honour. But people act as if it would be an insult if their fav fighter isn´t favoured to beat them.
