I have no doubt it was a very very violent KD. In a somersault your feet catapult over your head. This would have been a somersault and a quarter more if i read right.

KO'd De Kuh, badly hurt Johnny Risko, dropped Bearcar Wright at HW along with stopping others. Walker proved his power at HW more than natural LHW Bob Foster who is regarded as a monster was able to.

I Remember thinking at the Time Perhaps Jaime Garza should have crept into the Listing, despite all his faults.. He could Punch, and some rated him a harder one shot hitter than Predessor Wilfredo Gomez. Perhaps Danny Lopez took the Camp Focus ?

I always thought Carlos Hernandez of Venezuela was the most glaring omission. He had chilling power. He stopped Joe Brown, Davey Moore (broke his jaw), Teo Cruz (only stopped twice in his career - the other time on cuts), Kenny Lane, Alfredo Urbina, Bunny Grant (only stopped twice in his career - the other time was at the end of his career) Paolo Rosi (not cuts but dropped 3 times in the 1st round), Tito Marshall and Baby Vasquez. All resilient fighters as well. Also, even in losing bouts he dropped Jose Napoles, Nicolino Loche and Eddie Perkins. Every stoppage they had was on cuts, so again, great jaws. Hernandez deserved to be there more than Sanchez who was a counter-puncher, like Jersey Joe. I think too much was made about their KOs of Wilfredo Gomez and Ezzard Charles respectively. Like Leotis Martin's KO of Liston. They were high-profile KOs but didn't tell the whole story.

    Mcgrain,

First of all great list. I think Marciano should be included in the top 15. Marciano went 6-0 with 5 knockouts against hall of famers. He went 11-0 with 10 knockouts against Ring Magazine top 10 contenders. How can you argue with numbers like that?

Maybe because he did it against the old timer's version ? What is this , the first go round ?
