It was made in 2005, as it states in the link. They underrate Lewis. He should be no lower than #14.

    1999...but still ridiculous.

"Gentlemen, start your "WTF?" expressions! Somebody care to explain to me what Ezzard Charles did as a heavyweight to warrant such an inflated ranking? I wonder if they still rank Holyfield in the top-3 all-time today (this list is from the 1999 holiday edition). And I will never understand why these lists consitantly rank Rocky Marciano over Jack Dempsey. "

Typical biased, piece of **** Ring magazine list.

Nearly all Americans (except for Schmeling and Fitz who was a middleweight anyway) until they had to put Lennox Lewis in at #32 and having the nerve to put an overated contender like Cleveland Williams,an inferior contempory with a weaker resume like Bowe and a ****ing Lt Heavyweight like Moore ahead of him,to mention a few.

Just a **** list.Even by 1999 Lewis had done enough to be lurking around the top 10 yet they put imo, at least 20 lesser fighters ahead of him.

    Woeful.

The Lewis position takes all credability from the list and as for Cleveland...oh and am I alone in thinking Shaver get way overated on these lists?
And how about Folley at 38 and no Machen?
