How in hell are Carlos Ortiz and Vicente Saldivar too high? Ortiz is about 30 places too low, IMO. I'd probably place Saldivar about 15-20 places higher as well.

Ricardo Lopez is lucky to make the list at all.

I don't agree with much of it, but these are the one's I have real problems with. Green = Too low, Purple = Too high.

That all depends on your criteria. You place no emphasis on the opponent's level of opposition, so you probably rate him top 10 all time or something like that. Out of curiosity, do you consider Sven Ottke an all time great, as well? Not comparing the two, just saying.

No because unlike Ottke, Lopez was much more convining, fought the best he could and 90% of the timt done it in great fashion. And retired 51-0

Ali really is a toss-up for top 10. He's either just in or just out, he shouldn't be as high as 3, in fact I think a top 4 of Langford, Robinson, Greb and Armstrong in whatever order is fixed and none of those should drop out. Louis shouldn't be top 10, I'd have him around #16. Chavez shouldn't really crack a top 20, I'd have him around #28 personally, Jofre shouldn't be top 20 either, I'd have him early 30's. Monzon I rate highly, but he still shouldn't be on the fringes of the top 10. He should probably be placed around the 20's. Saddler I don't really have that much of a problem with, though I do personally have him a bit lower around the mid-to-late 20's.

He didn't fight the best he could. He avoided the other two best fighters of the era in Michael Carbajal and Humberto Gonzalez, fighters whose primes directly coincided with his own. The fact is, aside from Rosendo Alvarez (who gave him all he could handle and arguably won the first fight), he never even faced a truly good fighter, much less a great one.

He was obviously a very skilled fighter, and he dealt with his hapless opposition about as well as he could've, but he never proved himself to be truly great, IMO. I rate a guy like Jung-Koo Chang higher than I do Lopez.

Ali is borderline top 10, Louis borderline top 15. This is a P4P list, not a "most popular and conventionally accepted among mainstream fans" list.

Far too high. Great fighter, but I think he gets a bit more overrated than not, for my liking. I'd have him about 15-20 places lower.

All great fighters, Jofre being the only one I'd have him in my top 25, though. Hagler would be top 35, though. Chavez borderline top 40 or so.

Then again, to be honest I'm mostly basing this on my all time list, without any 80 year restrictions. A few of those guys might be higher, and I probably wouldn't have any issue at all with Jofre's placing.

What. It's a common known fact that Carbajal and Gonzalez avoided him. Everyone knows this. Please tell me you are joking, Lopez begged for them fights for years, but both didnt want to know.
