Floyd aint been retired for a week and Ring Magazine couldn't wait to replace him out of the #1 pound for pound list. To me I say at this current time, Nobody is #1 pound for pound king. I think it should be vacant until somebody takes it.

It makes sense if you are just going by the eye test in their last couple of fights. Of course, if you went by resume things would look quite different.

I can't believe Uchiyama's out, thats total bull. Golovkin isn't top 5 yet. Ward can't be number 2 especially given his recent opposition, why did wlad get downgraded even though he's had nothing but wins, Brook doesn't belong on that list at all, Crawford is a good fighter but besides Gamboa who else has he really beat?( hell even danny garcia probably deserves to be in it more than him) although i don't have too much problems with him since he has been so dominant, Yamanaka also a very good fighter but i would switch him with Inoue.

    My List

    1. Roman Gonzalez
    2. Guillermo Rigondeaux
    3. Wladimer Klitschko
    4. Sergey Kovalev
    5. Andre Ward
    6. Manny Pacquiao
    7. Takashi Uchiyama
    8. Terrence Crawford
    9. Gennady Golovkin
    10. Naoya Inoue

I'm contemplating switching Uchiyama and Crawford up due to Takashi's lack of activity this year and Crawford's dominance but i still think for the time being at least, this is the correct order.

Looks like Ring is counting negotiating table victories again.

This allows both GGG and Ward to claim wins over each other, as well as Rigo having a W over Lomachenko. Kovalev gets the Stevenson win.

Those call out victories are simply more meaningful than Wlad beating another unbeaten contender on the road in real life.

Dirrell also has better stamina and is able to keep the higher pace throughout the fight. He is taller, faster, longer reach and better on the outside than Ward.

That is a myth, a fairly tale that parents tell their children at night! :deal

Bring on Andre Ward and he will forever lose his media imposed status! Matrix by UD! :bbb

Seems like they used the "monkeys throwing darts at a list of names" approach.

Every single fighter who leapfrogged Wlad had inferior wins in their last fights compared to Bryant Jennings on his home turf.

I did see one of the team at Ring saying one of the reasons Rigo wasn't higher was some members felt one fight in a year whereby he had to get off the canvas twice against an unranked opponent is not enough to justify a top five position.
