This is a ringside report of the next fight Jack Johnson and Joe Jeannette had, after Johnson, had controversially been disqualified in the second round of a fight he was winning.
This bout took place just nine days afterwards. It is taken from the Racine Times

    Sorry about the script in the previous post;
    PHILADELPHIA, Pa., Dec. 4.—

    "Stirred
into action by the. yells of disgust from
the spectators. Jack Johnson made things
lively for Joe Jeannctte in the last two
rounds at tlie National A. C. Saturday
night. In the fifth round Johnson knocked
his opponent down once and in the
last round he sent Joe to the mat hwicn.
Nearly all the hard punching was concentrated
    in those two rounds. Johnson
    f r i e d to knock out his opponent in the
sixth round. He rushed and sent Jeancite
to the ropes with body blows. Johnson
Mien floored JcanneUe with a right
swing on the jaw. The bell rang before
    Johnson could get started again."

As can be seen, Johnson had Jeannette on the floor three times in six rounds .Once in the fifth round, and twice in the sixth ,and last round.

Now,apart from Mendoza, is there anyone who thinks Johnson deliberately fouled out to save himself from defeat in their fight ,just nine days earlier?

The Philadelphia Inquirer, a local paper stated "Johnson bested Jeannette."

My thanks to that excellent poster, Matt Donnellon for this information.

That is a rather short ring side report. It looks more like a wire report, and you will have a tough time proving the author was at the fight.

What happened in a 6 round match nine days earlier does not pardon low blows, nor does it change the fact that Johnson had the worst of the encounter according to the stuff I posted vs another super middle weight until he fouled out in round two.

Your a sad man Mcvey. No report that Matt sends you can change the facts that your wife beating idol had trouble vs. smaller super middles.

Ali - Frazier's got nothing on this rivalry. Pity it's not as competitive.

It's a ringside report, something you never posted for their previous fight despite frequent requests, from various posters.

It was a fight that happened NINE DAYS LATER.

" a rather short ringside report".
Yet one you have difficulty understanding, and digesting, despite my underlining the crucial parts. :patsch
You will find no one that accepts your biased. and third hand accounts, of Jeannette being in front, or of his weighing 165lbs , of multiple low blows, or of a deliberate foul.

You had ample time to produce proof of your bull**** ,you produced
    JACK ****.

This myth you have been propagating belongs with the other unsubstantiated fairy tales you periodically regurgitate.
"Tommy Burns was suffering from jaundice when he met Johnson" ,[ In your case when he meet Johnson]

    "Burns broke Johnson's ribs".

" Burns asked McIntosh for a postponement"

" Jeffries hurt Johnson in the tenth round, and held him even until he tired".

" The Johnson v Johnson fight was scheduled for 20 rounds"
I posted a link yesterday that gives a ringside report that Jeffries only landed ONE punch ,[in the 4th ] that bothered Johnson, and that was the ONLY round credited to him.

That is FIVE unsubstantiated tales that you have trotted out and ,when asked to provide PRIMARY SOURCES for them, have not done so.

I could provide several more examples of your mendacity ,but I don't need to

You are just about done here.:hi:

I think that might be a compliment , but,in the light of previous encounters I am reluctant to assume so.
