    so this is a thread on the top pro prospects that will emerge from rio 2016

    light flyweight - Paddy Barnes (Ireland) - would win a world title in about 5 fights
    Lu Bin (China) - great prospect
    Vasilly Egorov (Russia) - top class
    Hasanboy Dusmanov (Uzbekistan) - great fighter

    flyweight - Misha Aloyan (Russia) Mega prospect!
    Jeyvier Cintron (Puerto Rico) - top class

    bantemweight - Vladimir Nikitin (Russia) - great pressure fighter
    Michael Conlon (Ireland) - incredible natural ability
    Javid Chalabiyev (Azeribajan) - world champ

    lightweight - David Oliver Joyce (Ireland) - made for the pros
    Dmitryi Polyanskiy (Russia) - heavy hitter
    Albert Selimov (Azeribajian) - amateur legend

    light welterweight - Evaldas Petrauskas (Lithuania) - strong as an ox and like a mini tyson

    Most of those fighter will stay in amateur (mostly Eastern Europeans mostly) maybe a few in the upper weight classes, fighters like Selimov have been amateurs for an eternity. In the lower weight class the only fighter I see making a splash is Cintron. Europeans don't do well in those classes not to much competition in Europeans just like Latinos don't do well on the bigger weights not to much competition.

    isn't 2016 Olympics open to pros as one of the last sports to finally go there?!

    So I suspect it will all be very different, with no actual amateur winning one of the bigger medals.

    Got to give Ivan Dychko some love too, he beat most the guys u mentioned, and imo got robbed in 2012

    Plus he still managed to get a bronze

    You forgot the reigning World Champ at MW Alimkhanuly. Top 10 am prospect in the world imo.
