Yeah, forgot about that. Joe Joyce lost the other day so it looks like he won't be qualifying for Rio via the WSB.

Never heard of Felix Cash. I just googled him and he's a gypsy. I was expecting something different with a name like that. lol

ya he lost to the little fat russian Babanin, not a good sign:lol:

Hrgovic was always going to be the one qualifying anyway

Cash is fun to watch but he might get smashed to bits against the best in the wsb

He lost to that other blubbery Russian Sergey Kuzmin too, via stoppage.

Didn't Joyce actually beat Hrgovic a while back?

he did but i think that had a lot to do with him being the home fighter and i was rooting for joyce but it was a bad decision

Babanin looks like he would be a MW if he got himself in optimum shape. lol

I can't remember much about Joyce-Hrgovic but I don't recall thinking it was a bad decision. I seem to recall thinking that Hrgovic might have thought it was going to be a cakewalk and Joyce just caught him by surprise and outworked him. If they fought again I think Hrgovic would beat him easy.

    Tyson or Hughie?

Like I said, I don't remember much about it so you may well be right about that.

Must surely have been the juniors then?

Hrgovic looks really good. I just think he got caught by surprise after thinking it was going to be easy. I seem to recall thinking that judging from his body language.

I hope you guys wathed Kuzmin vs Medzhidov in the european final a year or two back. HW fight of the year :;) And if you didn't, and while your at it, watch Kuzmins semi final against Joyce, too.

    Blubbery russian... Heavy bones.

Oh I know Kuzmin's appearance doesn't reflect his ability at all. He's definitely a very good fighter despite that excess weight.

I saw both those fights. He obliterated Joyce with ease. I've see a few of his other fights too, including his pro debut.
