Geale has won 2 genuine belts.

I'm not interested in the **** the WBA pulled on Geale.

Shaw sent Lacy for all the marbles and look how that panned out for all concerned , he could keep Geale fighting the Mundines and Solimans of the world for another five years before cashing him out . Who is Geale likely to fight next in your opinions lads ? I will be very surprised if its a top five ranked fighter , it will IMO probably be another soft fight v Mundine for a cash dash and then Sam Soliman , I see Daniel being tied up for at least another two years defending down under at Shaws request . The only plus from thus will be you get to see him live on a regular basis .

Gotta agree Josey... Geale isn't fighting any big big names in the near future IMO

Probably Soliman if the drug thing pans out well.

If it doesn't, I have no idea. Let's hope it's something big.
    Why do you think that?
They're chasing the best and grabbed 2 real straps so far, why wouldn't you think they go further?

You know as well as I do it's hard to get the big fights, timing and $$ and all the rest of the political ****.

Geale is the real deal mate, don't forget it.
That would be nice, but not necessary.
I'm happy to see him in the big fights anywhere.
    You know what I meant.
May as well be the WWF. :nut

Because he hasn't so far, he has been happy to fight a bunch of no bodies since he won the belt, Sturm excluded but even Sturm isn;t a big name.... just going on form..

Sturm was the WBA champion for years with about 12 successful defences, and also held the WBA super champion title.

Felix Sturm was a big name until Daniel Geale got a hold of him.

He was a massively protected species, not saying that he wasn't a decent fighter, but even Soliman beat him.

We were discussing Geale fighting big names and you said Sturm wasn't a big name. All I'm saying is Sturm was a big name until Geale got to him.

Im not talking about blokes in Germany... If he hadn't fought DLH no one would know who the guy is.

 You know what I'm trying to say.

A big name in Boxing. I want him in Mega fights, anything short of that when he is at his peak isn't acceptable, he had 2 belts, He should be fighting the best of the best

We all want Geale to fight the big names, the mega fights, but don't try and claim Sturm wasn't a big name.
