Sturm was a big name. I can't believe you are wasting your time trying to argue otherwise :patsch

He wasn't and for good reason.

Sturm was the WBA champion for years with about 12 successful defences, and also held the WBA super champion title.

Felix Sturm was a big name until Daniel Geale got a hold of him and trying to argue otherwise is just making you look stupid

Macklin and Murray both pretty much beat Sturm. Geale did great to win a good fight and get the belt but Soliman beating Sturm showed us all where Sturm was really at. Sturm is a name but not the superstar or big name you are making out he is/was.

Only said he was a 'big' name and he was before Geale got to him :good

Most of the boxing world have classed Sturm as a big name and therefore disagree with your opinion. But you are still entitled to it. Opinions are free :good

He was most famous for losing to Oscar and annexing a belt in Germany. Good fundamentals of boxing but nothing special.

Most of the boxing world have classed Sturm as a big name and therefore disagreed with your opinion as well as whipsey's.

That is an opinion and not a fact....

Sturm was a belt holder, good win for Geale but don't get carried away. That is all I am saying, I can't speak for Whipsy but it looks like he is saying the same.

Who has classed him as a big name? he is never mentioned on the big HBO or showtime telecasts when the middles are discussed, they couldn't give two rats about him because he chose to hide in his little hole in Germany.

The boxing world's opinion on whether a boxer is a big name or not determines if he is or not. That's how you become a big name :good
