You aren't the spokesman for the boxing world.....

He is a big name in Germany.

It was a very good win for Geale, no doubt about it. But he isn't a big name in the world of boxing.

No one has said that it wasn't a great win for Geale, it was.

Although I don't like how he hasn't sown the Aussie flag on his shorts properly there

They say they are after the top names but fight the likes of Mundine or Soliman ? It's obvious Shaw is after some return off Geale before he sets him in with anyone dangerous I tried to explain this earlier , Geale will cruise for two or three years before Shaw risks him losing his belt .

I'm glad we agree on something. Beating Sturm was a great win for Daniel Geale :good

The timing was right for Mandy, and it was redemption.
Don't you think most fighters would want revenge to a fighter they felt they were robbed against?
    Wouldn't you?

As for Soliman, he's the Mandatory. What are his options?

C'mon Josey, you know the biggest fights don't just fall into place, especially with the likes of Geale who is a high risk low reward fighter.
I don't agree. Time will tell.

You would have to think a third Mundine fight happens this year, Geale will fight Soliman or someone of that ilk whilst Mundine is angling for a fight with Mosley, when he wins that the general public will think it a viable option.

And if he fights Mundine again this year , will they still be after the big fights ? I've seen this **** before with Calzaghe and he wasted a great amount of his career ****ing about with cans for money and now his record is tarnished I just don't want to see this with Geale and if you think his management has Geale's best interests and ambitions at heart then you are in for a surprise mate .

I'll be more pissed off than you can imagine.
I don't really have any idea, I'm just hopeful.

    Don't burst my bubble. :nono

Joe's record is pretty damn decent IMO.

Sure it could be better, but then many fighters records could be better.
No offence, but maybe you're just expecting too much in this day and age?

Some fights just can't be made for one reason or another.
    Look at PBF VS Pac.
Everyone said one is ducking the other. None of us plebs really know why it didn't happen either. We just know it didn't and it sucked at the time.
Now, no one gives a ****.

My point being, is none of us really know why sometimes any of the big fights don't get made.
It obviously has a lot to do with the ABC orgs, and $$, but what else?

We really can just enjoy what we have, it's not gonna change.

I would imagine by now Grange are looking at alternative options to Sam Soliman. If his 'B' sample comes back positive it would surely have to exclude Soliman from being Geale's next opponent. Innocent until proven guilty for Soliman though.
