I hope Miguel Cotto beats Floyd Mayweather. I don't expect it but anything can happen. Cotto right now is probably more confident and dangerous than he has ever been. With the loss of his father, to falling in love with boxing again and redeeming himself vs the man who beat him with loaded gloves. Now with a new trainer who i know will devise a fantastic game-plan and fighting at 154 as the defending champion, Cotto is more dangerous than ever. I would seriously favor him now vs Pacquiao at 150. Mannys team refusing the 150 weight says a lot about how big of a threat Cotto remains to be. WAR COTTO!!!!
I agree!!!...... And still Junior Middleweight Champion of the world!!!! Miguel Angelllll COTTO!!!!! ( Michael Buffer voice)
I'd love Cotto to win, but I see no stylistic advantages for him. I except a fairly wide UD loss, if not a TKO.
Horrible music , good vid though. Margirito's one rum ****er isn't he.Seems to enjoy getting hit in the face.
If anyone deserves to beat floyd beside pac its cotto, perfect example of what a boxer should be, real professional. I respect cotto a lot and hopefully he can pull it off.
same ****, different day the same was said about ortiz about his "redemption" after beating berto(e) when he actually never even beat maidana or peterson
Nice video. I like the song choice for the last bit, it's from Rocky 5 soundtrack, basically shows what Cotto's career and life has gone through post Margarito 1 up till now through lyrics.
I've enjoyed Cotto through his whole career, he is/was an awesome boxer to watch especially coming up... ...but IMO, he's tailor-made for Mayweather. Especially going up to 147 and 154, Cotto has lost the somewhat above-average speed he had back at 140. He also doesn't use his straight right enough, and at times has shown he can lose confidence in his jab. Cotto is most effective against guys he can bull around and pin down for some clubbing shots to the head and body, usually hooks (which he throws with great power), but I'm afraid that Mayweather still has his legs, and isn't going to give Cotto that opportunity. When Cotto doesn't dictate the pace and generalship of a fight, he at times looks really lost in there. I expect a Mayweather UD.
