Haugen remains an underrated technician. I actually consider him a fine fighter, and a fantastic barometer.

Go ahead and find it. I got one too remember? But I'm not going to look thru every magazine in every article to find it. I can always narrow it down to 1985issues. If I get the time and have nothing to do I'll look next weekend.

As for Whitaker, there's nothing Pernell is going to show Hector that would throw him off. the one who get his off first is the one dictating the pace. Hector is faster we both know that, so how is Pernell going to outscore the faster man?

There's nobody here that can answer that question. Even i couldnt answer it. Maybe Pernell would have outpointed him but it seems more likely, at least to me that Hector at his peak would win this on points.

No you dont. I already gave you proof I attended Hagler's sparring session and you found every way imaginable to dismiss it even ahead of time. Just for that I wont bother looking for the article.

So you disagree with what I said? How do you think he fares against Edwin Rosario? Cause personally I think Rosario would have knocked the hittable Haugen into next week.

Awwww poor chook. What a surprise you can't come up with the goods

As if it wouldn't have been dug up by now given the proof Camacho got whupped in sparring.

If you can't provide i'll have to stick with what we have real info on, and that is Whitaker kicking peak Camacho's ass.

Rosario is my fave lightweight but only a fool would give Haugen no chance vs him. The Ramirez fight shows Haugen would be a very live slight underdog. Haugen has the heart and chin and offense to ask some good questions of Edwin. Interesting fight.

Camacho was unbeaten and pretty much not far from his peak. Don't give that utter nonsense, Rooster.

Ok, say you're narrowing it down to KO or World Boxing from the year 1985. What if I bother to collect all those back issues and what you claim is not there? Are you going to turn around and say it's 1986 or 1984? Are you going to claim it's from another publication?

I am willing to track the issue down if you limit the search, but I'm not going to bother getting EVERY mag from 1984-1986 to prove it.

It would be great if you did look through your mags and find the issue. I don't know why you don't. It would give Hector (and yourself) MASSIVE credibility if you could prove it with a reference.

Ramirez was a big puncher, Haugen was not. And Ramirez had a much better chin than Haugen as well. Haugen was an awkward counter puncher with toughness, but he was quite hittable and not as fast as Rosario. Haugen wouldnt be able to outbox Chapo, as Chapo was a superior boxer, and Haugen DAMN SURE couldnt win by trading punches with Chapo. I think the Rosario that destroyed Bramble would have been arrested for murder against Haugen. I dont see Greg seeing past round 5.
