Golota made Bowe look like a Eastern Euro fighter.

I dont want to sound ignorant or that, but alot of current Eastern Euro's sound punch drunk to me, but it's hard to tell becuase there english is so bad. Iggy sounds punch drunk to me, Brian Kenny on FNF had to interpret to the listening audience what he was trying to say.

most of your points have not been challenged by me. where did i say that toney was an exciting performer???

i didnt, so why do you point this out??

i said that boxing is defined by memorable fights.

i just said that the eastern euro style is made to provide
and i gave examples by mentioning fights.

you see this different.........okay, that is your taste, not mine.

i think the us/latin style contributes more to making memorable fights.........and i have pointed out examples.

and i post here cause boxing today is strongly influenced by european boxing.
again, as i have pointed out.

so most of your points referr to points i never made or you make suggestions regarding my person that you could have figured out by reading my line of argumentation.

so i ask again, what is the point of you rant?? are you just trying to be insulting??

I'm an American and a loooooooooooong time boxing fan dating back to the 60's. I've been a fan of boxers not countries. Where a fighter comes from doesn't mean **** to me as long as I see talent.

I grew disillusioned with the sport in the late 80's and started to watch it less and less frequently. Partly because of the transition from broadcast TV fights being replaced with PPV and partly because marquee matchups were becoming less frequent.

I think the sport became far more interesting and deeper with the advent of the Eastern European fighters after the demise of the Soviet empire. The post-Soviet economic conditions were ideally suited for spawning fighters and with the talent pool of old Soviet amateurs now faced with a capitalist landscape boxing was fortunate to have them.

Personally I think boxing would be thin and less interesting without the Eastern Euro fighters.

There's a difference between being punch drunk and having a very thick accent.

You gotta give em credit for trying and not speaking through a translator.

When you get to a certain age and learn a new language you will never shake your accent.

Golota being a "nutcase" is only 10% of why his fights are exciting. He comes to fight, always! He doesn't trash talk and he's always in shape.

Like i said before those guys were no better or exciting(except Brewster when getting his ass kicked)

Calvin Brock and Rahman would probably be belt holders today if the Euro's werent around<<<<<that doesnt sound that exciting.
