I honestly think this fight will surprise a lot of people. It may be long past due, entirely ego-driven and meaningless, but I'd be willing to bet that its at least good entertainment. Personally, if I were in Vegas, I'd go see it. Hopefully Roy can give a good account of himself, and then retire.

I think if Hopkins aim for that knockout, he might find himself on the receiving end of that.

With that, I see Hopkins being ultra-cautious on this one, not taking any chances at all, zero, nadah, on his way to a very depressing, boring, decision.

Its just talk. Hop has never been a guy who hunts for the KO he's not going to start now. Hop will say whatever it takes to sell a fight.

I feel Hopkins will finish it before times up. Jones is way past it, his reflexes are off, so is his speed, and apparently his chin. While Hopkins is still doing pretty good at his advanced age, at least in comparison.

But this fight is in fact a joke, and should have taken place YEARS ago.

Roy is the greater fighter I think. Bernard is doing what Ray Leonard did with Hearns and Duran, trying to avenge earlier fights. This fight is similar to Hearns/Leonard 2. Can Jones (who would be Hearns in that fight) withstand big punches and get his rhythm and win the fight? Well a really great fighter can have that last great performance, and I think he is a real great. The only thing which is against Jones is the fact that Bernard looks like the bigger guy at the weigh in. But I still think Jones might do it. But as Emanual Steward said about Hearns when he rematched Leonard "Tommy has to be able to take a punch. If he can take a punch it will be a great fight", although Jones does not fight action filled fights like Hearns did, he still can win this fight with counterpunching.
