Floyd Mayweather has an unbeatable aura surrounding him. Nothing the boxing world has ever seen before.

He's the kind of guy who is never going to lose, never going to fail. He simply works too hard. Truly a man who comes along once in a millenium.

He's not a talented fighter, but his willingness to work harder than everyone else is what impresses me the most. He takes what he's given (Which isn't very much) and does the most with it (Maximizing his assets)

Has kind of a Ray Robinson/Mike Tyson unbeatable aura. It's beautiful to watch this man fight.

He really is one of the greatest boxers to lace on gloves.

A man who came from nothing and became the biggest star the sport has ever seen.

A philanthropist, a giver, a selfless individual whom cares for others before himself.

You don't fight the gauntlet of opponents he has his whole career without a single defeat unless you're one of the best fighters ever. By "one of the best fighters ever" I mean top 15-30. I don't see how people can have him lower than 30, I just don't.

No surprise Roger was there working the mitts. Wouldn't be surprised of Sr. stood around and gave advice and oversaw the bag work like he did for his other fights.

Definitely agree in terms of his greatness being undeniable, given his accomplished resume.

On the number, I think it's easy to see why most have him around the 40's once you stop and realize his best single win is a competitive decision against a faded De La Hoya.

Well, that's where we disagree. I rate the Oscar win below most or all of Genaro, Corrales, Castillo II, Hatton, Cotto, and Mosley. Those are his top 7 in my eyes.

    ---

When it comes to Senior and Roger, man, I tell ya I'm surprised with the way they talk and move that they can even effectively work the mitts.

Don't know what you're talking about. Most historians and analysts have him 25-30 at this point. Manny 45-50.

    Now that's bull****.

I consider myself to be bias in favor of the old timers, and I rate both Floyd and Pac inside my top 25.

I think history will look back at these forums with puzzled looks when they see people claim that Floyd and/or Manny are thought of as so little in the grand scheme.
