Yeah, I can see some of those trumping the Oscar win. But even then, any one or pair out of that bunch can be feasibly trumped by the wins of 40 other fighters from history, in my eyes. Floyd's legacy's strength lies in his depth of lots of very good wins, compensating for a lack of many truly great ones. And that's not a knock on his resume because what he's accomplished is nothing short of great.

In terms of the mitts, if Freddie can do it, I guess these guys can too.

Which reminds me, I wonder what it's like to do bare-fisted mitt routines like Sr. often does them.

You must not have watched Floyd's career set. The first half of Floyd's resume is padded like with most fighters. Some of the first 25 guys he fought looked like they found them in the bus station.

It's very easy to not rate him in the top 30. In fact, I find it harder to rank him that high. However, fighters are often more harshly judged when they're active and their feats get more appreciated once they retire. This can happen to Floyd. He is somewhere in the 40-60 bracket for me. When he's finally done he could be in the 21-40 range.
