Bit into the side of my ****ing tongue yesterday during light sparring.
I was suppose to be resting but like always, if I show up to practice I'm gonna get involved. Luckily no blood came out so I didn't cut anything but the grooves where my teeth went in are still sore as hell.

Decided to chill on the forums for a while, focus on life and training. Cut down to 32, sharpening and dialing in for the next fight soon.

Crashed weight back on after holidays. Ugh, too much bad food.

The reality of what we are doing sets in when you learn another fighter from the local stable lost part of his eyesight from his last fight. It doesn't waiver me in purpose but it does help get focused on what your doing, knowing that it can cost you more than just your pride.

Runs in the morning or late at night, just whenever I can get it in. Noticeable difference so far just from running on a regular basis but not overdoing it.
    Technical/Drills/Sparring in the afternoon.

That's pretty much life right now.

Try not to get a big head but it feels good when people see the transformation you've gone through as a fighter.

All this roadwork.. and what hurts worst is did a full lap of lunges yesterday, my glutes and hamstrings were hurting so bad after this morning's run, I was laughing at the pain as I tried to stand up in the shower.
My ****ing butt never hurt so much from lunges/running, wtf. That parts never in the movies.

Wow.. never dropped someone that weighs over 300 lbs. They normally do bodybuilding/powerlifting, I crushed his solar plexus and knocked the wind out the first time. Second time, upper cut to the ribs.
Such a huge difference my technique has made and I fight at 132.

Oh yea.. funniest **** ever. I had some guy contact me through e-mail, said they wanted to train with us.

He's there today but not to train with us, runs over to me and talks about being interested, then says he has to get back to 'Table Tennis Practice'. It was at that time that I just kinda rolled my eyes and walked off, not even about too waste my time with that bull**** anymore.

Coach broke the new guy on day one again.
I believe it saves us time in the end when it comes to training people.

Starting to learn pro wrapping with gauze and tape for bouts as I've entered what chief calls 'Coaching Apprenticeship' since I got certified a few months back.

Learned the importance of wearing headgear during training..

Had a head clash during last exercise with less experienced boxer, he's about 50 lbs. heavier than me. He got a lump and it split me open with a nice cut....

Cuts healing slowly, hope it doesn't scar. My whole eye looks black and blue from the headclash....

Slowly doing a little bit of work here and there. Started roadwork back up, been going to training still but not able to do much. If I do any sort of contact, I practically fight one handed as I keep one glove permanently over the cut to try and keep it protected. Coach mentioned things to do to keep a cut protected during a fight by modifying hands but I don't quite remember.

Not easy to find motivation every day to do this. I know it's been at least three years since I've started training consistently on a part-time during school and full time during the summer. Now I'm at a point where I'm close enough to graduating that training is still full time with school going full time now as well. It is interesting to see how much you can develop as a person through boxing alone.
