    Marciano Vs Vitali Who Wins??
Marciano Will Go Down In History As The Greater Of The Two And Rightly So But Does Anyone Actually Think Marciano Would Stand A Chance If The Two Where To Meet ??

Take Marciano in the time machine and he would be a 220 lb fighting machine today... ROCK KO 14 VITALY

I don't know how relevant this is, but atheletes today are by far the better than athletes of "yesterday". I don't really think many people from any sport in the earlier to mid 1900's could compete with the competition today in any sport. Maybe a few, but not many... This link kinda shows what I'm talking about.

While I believe athletes today have the advantage in most things, there are a few areas where they dont, stamina being one of them, I cant tell you how many Heavyweights I seen gas out by the 6th round, Heavyweights of yester year would of killed them in that department.

I also believe fighters that fought during the 20's, 30's, and 40's, were alot tougher than the fighters we see today. Most of them fought for next to nothing and usually had another job other than boxing, alot of them either farmed, worked in the steel mills, damn near anything to make ends meet. The top fighters now adays make 7 figures, and only fight 2 to 3 times a year.

Conditioning maybe, could go either way. Toughness older guys were definitely more tough imo too. But the skill/strength/quickness of people now might override the tough factor. This is just one of those hypotheticals that no one will ever know about though... Sadly enough.
If only we had a time machine:think

And how were the boxers of yesteryear "tougher"?

Tougher mindset is what I'm thinking, maybe not physically but mentally. They didn't have the commodities we do, fought in like 2X as many fights... Other things like that.

Vitali crushes him. Not really a far fight or comparison though. I mean Marciano would only be a cruiserweight in today's era.
