    just because someone is undefeated doesn't make them great, neither does being in their prime, if he even was. You need to apply context

    Ive seen heavy bags with more lateral movement that that German paper champ. Now fielding beats two 168 HOF's ?

    I don't think so but a nice moment for Fielding.

    Fielding got knocked out early by Smith who IMO is good but nothing special. How you can compare him to Ward who is one of the best I have ever seen is just beyond crazy. Even comparing him to Froch makes you deserving of a slap.

    I am not sure Ward would have faced the undefeated Groves that Froch faced. Ward never seemed interested in prime boxer movers. He didnt seem interested in undefeated Bute or Degale and Groves was a good boxer mover at that time and I dont know if he would have travelled to face him. Who knows?

    I wasnt talking LHW I was talking SMW and at that weight Ward didnt face any top prime undefeated SMWs or undefeated champs at that weight

    How do you know how strong Kovalev would be at SMW?
    Ward may have fought him but lets not start going on about the controversial first fight or how the second one finished.
    Lets remember that the fight for Fielding was in Germany and I am not sure Ward would have made that journey to face an undefeated title holder

    I dont think it has been as strong as it has been since around 2007/08, a good 10 plus years but it has had even and entertaining fights and a competition fools the gullable

    Yet you cant tell me what was incorrect about what you highlighted.
    Fielding took risks Ward never took (Froch did) and travelled as the away fighter to beat an undefeated prime title holder.
    Whats incorrect there?

    Deserve a slap :facepalm:. Read it all now

    Smith is an undefeated prime SMW. Ward didnt face a prime undefeated SMW so it is difficult to compare.
    Thats not to take anything at all away from Ward who had a good career and retired undefeated
