The Rocky Marciano versus Trevor Berbick

The Rocky Marciano isn't koing The Berbick in a hurry .Its not a Tyson ko 2 and Berbick rolling all over ,with mills Lane trying to start a count !
Big Trev would do a lot of grabbing and mauling ,stopping Rocky from doing anything effective. Marciano would look like he was being smothered by a big Jamaican octopus at times. But Rock ,being the man he is ,keeps trying to hammer away at Berbick,though at times it looks like he's going to be at it forever. And TB will play the fool ,pulling face's and sticking his chin out for Rock to hit .A frustrated Rock has to settle for a unanimous points win ,whilst Trevor claims ,loudly ,that he's being robbed ..

I'm not so sure of that. Trevor did not exactly fight smart against the hitters and was blasted out by Mercado years before the Tyson bout. Against Tyson he went in as a slugger and tried trading. I'm not so sure he doesn't try the same thing against Marciano. Stupid game plan can rear its head and is a possibility.

 

Semantics, he was 215 against Holmes and 214 against Mitch Green.

Marciano was no slouch in the muscular department either

Are those pictures supposed to be indicative of anything? He looks like my dad after skipping a meal. You would have been better off doing the old muscles dont win fights routine

 

I don't think muscles are necessarily the winner in boxing, just look at Tyson Fury and Larry Holmes. I think it depends on your physique in context of boxing training, rather than like, weightlifting.

That doesn't even make sense, ive never even heard of a great boxer from Jamaica (and, to a greater extension, why would country matter?). What does attitude have to do with anything? How is he more man than Marciano?
