Guerrero wobbled in opening seconds
Rosas down about 100 seconds in to the round
Guerrero HAMMERS Rosas for the final 30 seconds of the round

WOW! 10-8 Guerrero WHAT A ROUND!

 

Guerrero looks like he knows a bit too much for Rosas so far but "Bad Boy" seems to just want a tear up, this round has seen both calming down but bombs are still coming in from both. Rosas hurt again! Guerrero going for the kill but missing with a lot of shots. You can almost see Guerrero going "I'm going to knock you out or blow my tank trying". Great counter right by Rosas! 20-17 Guerrero

 

Back to the all action stuff from the opening round. Both unloading early and Rosas needing to show off his toughness. This is genuinely great to watch, but Rosas is looking more and more flawed. Guerrero HEAD SNAPPED BACK! Rosas on the hunt and Guerrero looks to be wilting all of a sudden. 29-27

 

Rosas is bloodied but gutsy, Guerrero seems to have recovered his legs, Rosas throwing ONLY bombs.

Rosas taken to corner to have blood wiped away by his corner, that cut is NASTY on the right eye lid. Doctor takes a look...and says it's fine! Yay for that Dr! More warring. Rosas going for the body but may not have the time to "bank" those shots, Guerrero warned for going low, very good back and forth action with both having a good claim for the round. 39-37

 

Bombs from both but the pace has, understandably, dropped. Guerrero TAGGED HARD and blinks, takes a steps back then suddenly recovers, sustained attack by Guerrero and Rosas is forced to eat a flurry of shots, Rosas gets some distance and lands some bombs on Guerrero, Guerrero now bloodied (clash of heads?) it's getting messy in there! 49-46

 

Guerrero seems to be in control for the first minute with Rosas offering little, in fact Rosas has hardly thrown a punch of note in the first 80 seconds, he looks pretty damned spent right now, Rosas fires back in the final 20 seconds but too little too late. 59-55

 

How Rosas is still upright is a mystery but I can't see him lasting much longer, Guerrero is just beating him up against the ropes for much of the round. Gutsy kid but that's the best I can say of him right now, SLUGGING! Rosas chin is granite...but the referee has seen enough and saves Rosas from any more...

Yeah the stoppage came at the wrong time, had it come 20 seconds earlier I'd have understood it though.

 

El Chocolatito v Juan Kantun
Kantun is there to upset the applecart and takes the fight to Gonzalez, Gonzalez shows his composure and and takes a few seconds to see what Kantun has....Kantun continues to fire off shots-mostly blocked- Gonzalez now going to work and Kantun staggered backwards, body shots from Roman look vicious!
Tempted to give that to Kantun for his work rate but the better shots were from Gonzalez. VERY good opening round to watch

 

Kantun again starts on the front foot, we appear to have 2 men who do not want this to last the distance, both digging in bombs, think Roman has gotten away with some low ones here, Kantun looks like he's going to be too brave for his own good...makes for great viewing though, Kantun has cheeen and balls of steel! 19-19
