Anyone who thinks that becuase Chagaev beat Valuev that he'lll beat Wlad better think again. Valuev is no Wlad - Wlad is faster, hits harder, has better feet and is more versatile. I just watch Ruiz-Chagaev agina, he wasn't even close to stopping Ruiz, and Ruiz was backing him up on occassion. With his high guard Chagaev might finish the fight, but no way he wins a decision...And, he hasn't KO'd anyone in three years either...

    I'll buy a ticket.
Just to see the aftermath of a Wlad loss!
(I like watching a train wreck)

IMO Chaggy is the 3nd best in the HW division. Wvlad is #1 and Vitaly is #2.

Chagaev winning does nothing for boxing. He's not articulate, he is often injured and out of contention for ages and doesn't have any sort of legacy or number of victories to point back too.

Wladimir winning puts another step towards having a recognised champion who is starting to put together as good a resume as you can in this era.

chagaev could have been good, but never great. He doesn't do anything spectacularly, his resume is sad for #3 in the world, and he's way too injury prone.

And all you dickheads on the "AHAHA you're a WALD fan, he lost"

Yeah, six years ago - he was 27 at the time - he hasn't lost a fight since 2004 and he avenged that loss.

Since then, he's beaten 4 undefeated fighters, three of whom were rated highly in Sam Peter, Calvin Brock, Sultan Ibragimov.

Combine that with wins over Chris Byrd, Lamon Brewster, Tony Thompson and Rahman and you've got as solid a resume as anyone at HW in the last 6 years.

When he adds yet another undefeated fighter to his mix, you dickheads are still going to harp on about the Sanders, Brewster and Purrity fights, aren't you?
