@ you not being able to deal with EE fighters becoming a bigger and bigger force in boxing with each coming year
He's just some bitter old t-wat who loves to spew his BS online, cos he knows he wouldn't have ***** to say anything to anyone's faces in real life.
Frampton? Brook? Britain always has a selection of good fighters, and the reason they get cracked the odd time is because they don't run, they stand and fight for the most part. Also, Froch isn't wholly of Eastern European descent, Froch is a German name.
really?...this is about the 20th time i read this comment about ee fightgers "dominating" from 160 up....so, let's examine this statement.... so, at 160 the champ is cotto, a puerto rican, with ggg as the mandatory #1 contender...the other leading contenders are jacobs, ndam and lemieux...none of those guys are ee. so of the top 5 mw, one is ee and 4 are not....no domination there. that i can see. at 168 the champ is andre ward with froch as the #1 contender....then there's a couple of fighters from the UK and a german fighter and another american....no ee fighters there ....no ee domination there either. at 175 it's stevenson the champ with kovalev the presumed #1....then you have a couple of americans and a german and a colombian. no domination there either. at cruiserweight you have a cuban champ and a german as the top contender followed by three ee fighters ranked 2 to 4 ...followed by a buncha guys from boxing "hotbeds" like congo and south africa. the ee representation is better than mw to lhw, but still not what i would call "domination" then at hw, it's klitchko at the top due to longevity...then wilder and fury and stiverne and jennings...throw povetkin and mike perez in the mix and it makes for a div with interesting prospects...but still not what i would call ee domination. cotto beats ggg...stevenson ko's kovalev....wilder ko's wlad. so, y'all need to shut your mouths about any kind of domination....it aint happening except in your fantasy...not today, not in the future....your ole ass ee fighters are already over the hill and in decline.
Forget the pretend champs, this is the real deal: HW - Klitschko CW - Huck LH - Kovalev SM - Froch (Ward is dropped from all rankings) MW - Golovkin The likes of Cotto and Stevenson are only listed because they beat a certain guy, they make a mockery of the old lineal system.
Stevenson doesn't set up combinations and Beterbiev is being brought up slowly? He's 7-0-0, rated #10 by The Ring, is fighting Campillo who's #9 and beat Cloud in his 6th fight.
well, i was tryna be nice and impartial and give props to dudes....but since you went there, HW- wilder CW- Hernandez LH- stevenson SM- ward MW- cotto (let's see ggg fight a guy with pulse first) the ee boxing boom is pretty much fizzling out.
You're not consistent, Wlad is lineal at HW yet you put Wilder in? Wlad is lineal just like Cotto and Stevenson.
the RING championship means fuk all these days, but keep grasping at straws, it's becoming hilarious to watch :yep
It's the Putin effect. I hear Putin likes boxing. http://usa.chinadaily.com.cn/world/attachement/jpg/site1/20140519/002564bc674514e4062e06.jpg
Its great to see a wider array of fighters from all over the world competing at the highest level, but the whole "Eastern Euro takeover" has been over played. Its been talked about since Drago KO'd Creed
