Malcolm Tann has 4 loses. He has 5 round TKO loss to Dimitrenko.8 round TKO loss to Arreola and two losses inside the full distance.
Interview with Sergey Kuzmin before his fight against Tann: The preparation for the battle is almost complete. How did it go? - The training was held in Los Angeles. All is well, without injuries, all according to plan. - You were preparing in the USA. Are there any differences in the training in Russia and the US? And did you draw any conclusions for yourself, did you get something? - Preparation in the US, of course, differs from the Russian one in that there is a different time zone here, and secondly, with the abundance and variety of sparring partners that we have to work with. And sparring - this is almost the most integral part of training a professional boxer. And after every training camp here, I draw some conclusions, and when I come back here again, I'm looking for something new that can be taken from here, and subsequently I work it out in training with my coach Gennady Yuryevich Mashianov. - What do you know about your opponent? In the previous battle, after almost a ten-year break, he managed to defeat the enemy with a record of 9-0. - Yes, I was looking for the fights of my opponent, I looked through them. A good, strong two-meter guy who tries to work second and work first. He had a good career, after losing [in 2007], he almost did not perform for ten years, but then he went to the ring and defeated his opponent. I honestly do not know anything about his opponent, but it does not matter. I'm only determined to win, and I do not expect any other outcome of this fight. - Do you think how many more battles are to be held to be talked about as a candidate for titles? - I think that in the near future, after three or four fights, because the title fight needs to be earned. I'm going to this, and our team is working on it. I think that in the near future everyone will know [about me], although even here [in the US] many already know that there is such Sergei Kuzmin, who is boxing and is eager for the title of world champion. - How do you assess the current owners of titles in your weight? Who of them is able to become an absolute champion? - After the loss of Wladimir Klitschko, all the titles went to the continents. And there are three world champions. This is Anthony Joshua, Joseph Parker and Deontey Wilder. In principle, I can say about them that they have no outstanding opportunities. With all you can box. As for the absolute champion, I think, at the moment, Anthony Joshua leads to the title of the absolute world champion, he already has three belts, it remains to win the WBC and WBO belts. I think that time will tell who will become the absolute champion. - Who of the title holders would like to meet to demonstrate their abilities? - I will assess, in principle, all on equal terms. With all you can box and win. It only remains for my promoter and manager to bring me to these title fights, and then the matter of technology. An attitude only to win http://www.vsenabox.ru/news/sergey-kuzmin-nastroy-tolko-na-pobedu/
And here is another interview with Sergey Kuzmin before his fight against Tann: "The next fight is another important step to my main goal, the title of world heavyweight champion," said 29-year-old Kuzmin. "Training in the US is going according to plan, now there are sparring, I'm very pleased with who I work with in training and I get very valuable experience." According to the Russian heavyweight, he feels ready to compete for the world title in the very near future. "Yes, I feel ready to fight for the title right now and I am confident that I could compete with the leaders of the weight: Anthony Joshua, Deontey Wilder and Joseph Parker," Sergey continued. - With Anthony Joshua, I boxed in amateurs, so going out against him in the ring again for me is not a problem. Yes, now this is a completely different boxer who has added very seriously in athletics, shock power and experience, but we, my trainer Gennady Yuryevich Mashianov, do not stand still and are ready to fight against him in the near future. " "As for Deontey Wilder, I think that I could knock him out right now," said Sergey. - I'll even say more - I'm sure of it. He is quite vulnerable to those who are not afraid of him and are ready to hit hard in return. He moves a lot, keeps at a safe distance and throws his long strikes, but I understand very well how to work against such a boxer to get it and finish the fight in my favor. The same applies to Joseph Parker, who fought in the past with Razvan Cojanu. I have no doubt that I would have been able to defeat him in my next fight and make it plain. I, by the way, sparred with Cojanu, I know perfectly well what kind of boxer is and I think he would have a good chance of winning if he was preparing to fight with Parker fully, and did not come to replace him at the last minute. " "Of course, it's very difficult to count on the title fight in the coming year, as the lineup of the contenders is big enough, but I'm ready to work, ready to train, ready to win and move up the ratings to get this chance and bring the world heavyweight title in Russia, "said Sergey: http://allboxing.ru/news/20170614-0800/sergey-kuzmin-uzhe-seychas-smog-pobedit-uayldera-i-parkera
I agree with Kuzmin he would KO Wilder right now.He would outpoint Parker via landslide decision.Joshua would be tricky but winnable if he gives his all because he had a close fight with Joshua in amateurs.
Ryabinsky doesn't want to rush Kuzmin I can understand that.He can put Kuzmin with Justin Jones(Kuzmin's sparring partner for his last fight) next if Jones beats Martin
