I know I'm right, Its just taking you a while to catch on..

Nope, never said they're going to dominate. I said the central-asian sphere, S'tan call it whatever, is going to be a new frontier in high level amateur boxing. An you can see it in the results being achieved at intl' meetups.

Well you've just shot yourself in the foot an answered your own question there
Of course these countries can never build Football institutions to compete with EPL. But unlucky for you, they've found a sport that requires almost no expensive training or massive infrastructure, Just Gloves an a bag.

    U r kidding right.

Since 1996 Russia - 9 gold (Saitovx2, Gaydarbekov, Lebzyak, Mekhoncev, Chakhiev, Povetkin, Tishchenkox2), 2 sylver, 12 bronze, 1 Val Barker

Kazakhstan - 6 gold (Zhirov, Sattarkhanov, Ibraimov, Artayev, Sarsekbayev, Sapiyev), 5 sylver, 6 bronze, 3 Val Barker

    Ukraine - 4 gold (Klitschko, Lomachenkox2, Usyk, ), 3 sylver, 7 bronze, 1 Val Barker

If that't OK then Ukraine sux I guess

    world championships 2011

Ukraine 4 golds 1 silver ( 1st in medal table)
Kazakhstan 2 silvers 2 bronzes (7th in medal table)

    olympics 2012 MENS boxing

Ukraine 2 golds 1 silver 2 bronzes( 1st in mens medal table)
Kazakhstan 1 gold 1 silver 1 bronze (joint 5th in mens medal table)

right now and for the last few years and for the foreseeable future, Ukraine are the number 1 nation in boxing and are clearly ahead of Kazakhstan.
Thats what Im trying to say so don't troll and twist things.

Kazaks are good but they are not currently on the level of Ukraine, Russia and Cuba

damagejackal whatever your name is I can't be bothered getting into georgaphy lessons or talking about countries that are poor at boxing whats the point, Krygstan - i couldn't name 1 boxer from there past or present, they never win medals yet you are mentioning them lol, ur obviously from there and deluded or trolling. I aint talking about nations that are crap at boxing. Talk about the best boxing nations.

    Like I posted earlier

    at the moment it's
    1. Ukraine
    2. Cuba
    3. Russia
    4. Great Britain
    5. Ireland
    6. Kazakhstan

( ^they are clearly the top 6 nations in amateur boxing at the moment)

  5. I would swap Russia with Cuba, although Russia only 1 won gold at the last olympics, they won 6 medals overall which was more than any other nation

  6. Klitschkos and Povetkin- dominating the heavyweight division
    Huck and Wlodarzcyzk- dominating cruiser
    Kovalev - dominating light heavy
    GGG - dominating - middlweight
    Lomachenko will dominate featherweight

allakhierdiev and gradovich have good chnaces of dominating their divisions

    then you have guys like
Masternauk, Pulev, Rabchenko, Shelestyuk, Korobov, Beterbiev, Kaviaulaskas, Usyk, Redkach, Shafikov, Troyanovsky, etc etc etc all could be long lasting world champs/division dominators

3 Val Barker out of 5 went to Kazakhs. I liked the stats put about performance over time since 1996 as it is more representative.
The stats on comparison of 2011 WC and the last Olympics to place Ukraine above Kazakhstan shows that the recent performance of Ukrainians is better. Still it's not representative enough. Wait until the next WC is conducted to see a more reasonable trend: it may very much happen that Kazakhs will outdo Ukrainians.

  8. In your dreams maybe
Ukraine will have Berinchyk, Gvozdyk, Khytrov, Dervychenko, Golub, Butsenko, Ischenko, Shelestyuk, Kyslytsyn, etc and maybe still Usyk. So there is no chance of that happening

U should be consistent with ur facts. If you wanna talk about their standings based on their results in WC 2011 and London 2012 then u should put Russia and China in the same level. Cuba didn't win a gold medal in 2008 Olympic. So just because they did bad one year means they r average? Ukraine did good in 2011-2012 and all of a sudden they r MU level? U can't just ignore facts that do not support ur opinion.

I think if anyone is gonna get the better of Ukraine at this years world championships it will be Ireland. Look at the team they have.

    John Joe Nevin
    Paddy Barnes
    Michael Conlan
    Joe Ward
    Jason Quigley

    don't you agree?
