The Sad Fall of Big, Bad, Tough Sergey Kovalev

    It started with one of the softest punches ever to make a man cry.

    Big strong Russian badass ("I will kick his ass!") Kovalev gets gently tapped to the beltline by feather-fisted Andre Ward ("he hits like a girl!") in round seven and falls over in a pale imitation of Zab Judah. He's howling in pain.

    Do you know the one? The little pat to the belly? The one that caused big bad Sergey Kovalev ("I will end his career!!") to fall over in agony in round 7?

    And then he would turn his back to Andre ... What has happened to Sergey?

    Then later plead with the ref ("Son of judges!") for a low-blow call on a series of punches clearly on the belt in the middle of round 8?

    And then get clipped by a huge right hand and do his best imitation of the Zab Judah chicken dance? (Come to think of it, Sergey has a bit in common with Zab -- howling over low-blows, fading after four rounds, a pygmy heart, etc.)

    Oh and then big bad Sergey goes all jelly-legged and falls all over the ring as Ward follows in hot pursuit, battering him to the head and body for a good 30 seconds.

    And then finally, big bad bully Kovalev slumps off to the corner -- hurting, defenseless, defeated, broken -- waiting for Ward to put him out of his misery. He hunches over -- please make it stop, please make it stop, Sergey says to himself -- and Weeks mercifully ends the fight.

    Weeks took mercy on big, bad Sergey Kovalev because that was going to get a lot uglier had it continued on.

    When Lewis got one shot KOed did you make a dumbass thread like this? Or when BIG BAD Tyson got KTFO? Roy Jones??

    Many lose and bounce back. Sergey was in the middle of corrupt bull**** and wasn't knockout out. He was cracked LOW and the fight was called off.

    Wards 'win' is TAINTED and will ALWAYS be looked at as such. As many of THEM love to say.. DEAL WITH THAT :fusmile

    My personal favorite BIG BAD TALK was Tyson to Kevin McBrides coach.

    "You're gonna get Kevin killed. Juth stop! Juth go sit down!"

    My three year old hit me in the nuts and I was bent over for fifteen minutes and kept checking my nuts for damage.
    Ward although feather fisted by boxing standards had enough to crush the Krushers nuts countless times.
    An obvious plan to break Kovalevs nuts and get the win hence the delay in the rematch until a scheme was constructed. Pure brilliance by team nutcracker ward.
    Horrible people though.

    did your three year old hit you on the nuts or 1 inch below your belly button, which is where Ward's love tap in round 7 landed?

    The nuts are very low, they're not near the beltline, lets get clear on anatomy.

    Also, were you are the time wearing a cup when your three year old got you? That's an important detail.

    (I also have a three year old and the fella does take swipes at me, but never yet hit me in the nuts thank heavens).

    Why are your bringing up Mike Tyson? Because he was another bully who crumbled against a determined foe?

    I was a bit perturbed by that reaction, it seemed so out of the norm for Sergey to complain about something so trivial I believe it was more strategic if anything at all. I thought he wanted weeks to focus more attention on the bodywork delivered by Ward. Ultimately the only issue I had was a premature stoppage and probably the last low blow that really had more to do with Kovalev being bent over and that grazed low mostly hitting sergeys gloves.

    Other than that it was a systematic & comprehensive unraveling of Kovalev.

    Don't worry. Hopefully foreigners get the message and stop fighting in America. Let them win titles and keep them hostage Abroad.

    Don't fall into absurd notion, it isn't true just look at the proof in the pudding....take a look at the posters who constantly cry about the American prejudice for foreign fighters. Seriously look at there posts it's full of hate, extreme ethnocentrism, subjective and illrational rants with polarizing views and dissections of fights.

    Don't support that sh$t, Kovalev, ggg, lomo they all get plenty of love and respect from the real posters in here.

    Kov got some love online. But not much In real life bro. In both his fights vs Ward he was booed and it was an SOG crowd. Kov fought Pascal in Canada TWICE. Fought Bhop in Atlantic City and Cleverly in UK. He's always been the B side.

    Once he got the titles he should have made Ward fight him in Moscow. 3 Russian judges. He trusted in American fairness and he got clobbered.

    It's got nothing to do with ethnocentric or nationalism or hate. It has to do with politics, period. And as a Russian in a America, there's only so far he can go. HBO did him well until he ran head to head with the American darling. And now watch him get disposed of.

    Now it's GGG turn to sell his 3 titles to GBP and Canelo for 15 million, but that's real money.
