what?? have you ever seen Pacquaio throw alot of body shots?? he was hitting DLH in the head not the body. so if your gonna say a youngster has got a flaw but the best boxer in the world doesnt work the body that much, then your all over the place. I dont think I remeber Pacquaio throwing 1 body shot against Marquez and Diaz, so dont sweat a youngster like Kirkland, by the time Kirkland is 26, nobody body will want to see him. ppl scared of that ass now. who do you think will beat him??

Oh and Ali and Tyson both lost years of there PRIME.

Ali was out of the ring from the time he was 25 to 28. And Tyson from 25 to 29. Those are the prime years for any fighter not when you are 19-22 like Kirland was out. He was just a baby that still isn't in his prime yet.

When you have the all around tool set as Manny Pac, you can afford to not throw body shots.

When you're a plodding brawler with slow shoulder rolls and feints, you need to use all the tools on offense. Kirkland throws no body punches so a much more adept defensive fighter (and not a Joel friggin Julio) will just pop, tie and run. He doesn't have any sort of body work to stop a great moving JMW and he hasn't dealt with a skilled fighter who can tie him up properly. A great counter puncher would also eat him up if he continues to be a head hunter.

Someone mentioned Kirkland as a Juan Diaz type fighter which he CAN be (a top 3 fighter in his division) if he mixes up his attack. Otherwise he's prime meat for a good uppercut.

Gotcha, agreed on that point. Thought you were going after Chagaev (which of course makes no sense in this thread, but not much has.... one guy uses "*****" freely and wonders why he's called sexist... another uses "awsome" freely and invokes past champs and wonders why he's accused of calling his guy "elite").

Is that your assessment? That because Kirkland beat Julio quicker than Dzinziruk (who's name you can't even spell) then Kirkland would beat Sergiy?

Fool. Dzinziruk doesn't have the power Kirkland does, that's why he took him to a decision, but Dzinziruk got caught far, far less than Kirkland. The guy is an exciting, powerful brawler but he's got barely C+ skills, he doesn't work the body enough to stop a guy like Dzinziruk moving and circling, and his defense is wide open.

Dzinziruk would pick him off all-night. It's criminal this guy is hidden because he's one of the best talents at 154. Have you even seen him fight? Thought not, so don't pass judgement. Unlike you I have seen both guys fight and can tell you now that Kirkland would lose a lopsided decision.

Spinks is an equally tough fight. He's a proven operator, defensively good, very skilled and quick with a decent chin. Kirkland would lose an equally lopsided decision against Spinks.

Forrest is actually the one guy I'd give him much of a chance against because of styles. The Mayorga fights showed that the way to beat Forrest is pressure, your not going to out-counter-punch Forrest which is why he dominated Mora when he turned up in the rematch, why he beat Mosley twice. He's a good fighter, but past his prime and styles gives Kirkland a chance of an upset.

Ali was not a draft dodger. He simply said no, kill me if you want but I am not going. Thats not dodging thats refusing, there is a big difference.

Arriov- who his a great JMW??? thats why I want to know. he act like Kirkland is a cupcake or something. he did work the body last night, I dont know what fight you was watching. Like I said before, who would you take to beat him right now?? I think Kirkland would beat the hell out of Angulo and Mora, Martinez would be a good fight but he keeps his hands down to much. Forrest would be a good fight and would be the favorite, but I wouldnt be surprised a prime Kirkland would beat him. The only one right now that I think would beat him is Williams, and Williams can beat anybody from 147 to 160 right now so thats all good. so who do you think would beat him?? Otherwise his taking over this **** buddy.

thats not what im saying, im saying ppl think hes got no boxing skills. c+ boxing skills?? YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING ME?? Margartito has c+ boxing skills, Mora has c+ boxing skills. Kirkland was thorwing straight lefts and double jabbing before he went inside. Spinks would get that ass whooped, you would not lay any money on Spinks if they fought, you just playing aronud.
