I definitely don't think Bika won that fight but I did give him 4 solid rounds which was alot better than I expected. At the time it was another ho-hum defense for Joe but since then the win has gained a little more credibility. Bika's a rough customer. Whether you're world class or not you're gonna have to work to beat him. He'll never be an easy opponent for anyone and all it took was the Calzaghe fight to show that.
Bute and Joe won comfortably but Bika is awkward as ****. Bika didn't make them look good but it doesn't mean he won the round.
I assumed you referred to Standi's post, but I can't see where he says Bika should have won. He says that he doesn't agree with 9-3 and the ringside judges scoring, but that does not necessarily mean that he think Bika won, most likely he just thinks the result should have been closer. Of course only Standi knows for sure what he meant to say, this is however how I understod his post.
The Bika Challenge Who will have the balls of taking it? They are all afraid of him, even if they can bank on a home-town decision. I will have a lot of respect for anyone who takes on Bika from now on! You underestimate him and you lose. You are not very good AND at your best, and Bika will sting you badly. I want to see a puncher like Froch take on Bika; he has a very solid chin and he doesn't cut; it should definitely provide Froch with his hardest fight so far, I also want to see Lacy fight Bika. It can be arranged for December. Certainly a much better prospect than any other likely candidate, especially Manfredo...
