This loss has got to be the most used weapon against a fighter since Durans no mas. I swear Loma could go through his whole career undefeated and even up to his last fight these mf's would be saying '' but, but Salido had the blueprint.''

All you have to do is rough Loma up and fight him dirty and you can beat him. Where Maidana roughed Floyd up and won Loma lost to Salido and that style won't be forgotten when Loma or he is lucky enough to be compared to attack will fall short.

The Salido loss being touted as a legitimate black mark on a fighter opens the door to **** all over guys like Hopkins and gang for his utterly disgraceful loss to a DEBUT boxer OMG OMG OMG!!!

The sword bites two ways. :naughty2:

To me the Salido loss merely confirms the difference between the ams and pros and the fact that a bit of adjustment is needed to acclimatise. Nothing more.

In fact, the Salido fight being touted as a blueprint for how to beat Loma, is going to get a lot of guys put into traction. Loma had solved Salido's roughhousing by the halfway mark and was boxing his ears by the end of the fight. Guys looking for a way to beat Loma need to actually do the work analysing his style and thinking about how to adapt their own style to his, instead of thinking "I'll punch him in the nuts and win."

    Truth.

Yes Floyd still wipes the floor with him at 130s, you guys should do a fantastic match up Duran vs Loma that’s a easy no mas for Loma he can keep the streak alive

this sums it up quite aptly. not to mention, the rematch would have been absolutely pointless - loma would lay orlando salido on the ground, take a dump on his chest and teabag him until he said 'no mas'

Losses matter in short careers. When Loma is in he twilight of his career, this loss probably won't be brought up, and he may have a few more loses IMO.

So you'd pick Salido in a rematch then?

Boxing is boxing whether you get paid or not
For instance it wouldn't matter if your mama got paid or not...she still produced you.

Well, he did and that's undeniable. The fact you claim he doesn't have the blueprint is delusional in it of itself
