I have to disagree.....Peter is not beating Wlad. Been there, done that, came up short. And don't say its cause Peter didn't land his money punch, cause he landed, flush, at least five times in the fight. Rewatch and keep track, and you'll see that Wlad tasted Peter's power, and the result wasn't what Peter had hoped for. I think we'll also see how much of a beating Peter will get when Vitali gets ahold of him, come October. :good Povetkin, would probably be steemrolled by Peter, as would many of those C level up and comers, like Arreola, Estrada, Minto, etc.......... .......but I doubt Peter would be able to deal with Valuev's size and constant leaning (which is very taxing on stamina) and stiff jab. I also see Chagaev outboxing Peter, and I most certainly see Ibragimov outboxing Peter. I think Ruiz would also be all Peter could handle, and Ruiz Peter would probably be a pick em fight.
Sam Peter. Definately not one of the sharpest. As a matter of fact, I would say that he is at the top of the list as the dumbest heavyweight today and is a slob to boot. You really have to dig way down deep to the bottom of the barrell to find anything positive to say about this guy. Maybe invent something. Like making people think that **** is icecream.
So... according to you, Sam can't beat any of the HW's. Comical. He can absolutely beat Wlad, that's for certain. If he actually is able to land a power shot when they rematch, and yes folks... they WILL fight again, Sam knocks Wlad down and finishes him. Wlad hasn't been touched for almost 3 years, and that will come to an end. When he does get tagged, he won't do well with it.
He's the number 2 Heavyweight in the world, yet you cant find anything postive to say about him? If thats the case, the Heavyweight division is surely the worst it has ever been. Sam Peter is a very special boxer who has a great combination of Power and toughness, mixed with killer instinct we have not seen in the Heavyweight division since Tyson, he's the violent Heavyweight people have been craving for, for years now. You should be happy we have a fighter like Samuel, someone who doesnt melt under pressure(Wlad), and has the KO power to put someone in a coma with the right punch.
Wow, he's the number two heavyweight in the world right now! And the Heavyweight division could very well be the worst it ever was now. Peter is pretty much David Tua with a much worse chin, less power, less stamina, and worse technique.
David Tua wasnt ****, he couldnt even beat glass chinned Rahman fairly the first time, he had to hit him after the bell to knock him out, and had a draw with him in there second fight. He looked like a fool against Bryd, and never won a title. Sam Peter has accomplished more than Tua, and he's not even half way done with his career.
How about you watch a young prime Tua before you make statements like that. He knocked out a PRIME Oleg Maskeav, not the old one Peter beat, and stopped future WBA champion Ruiz in 19 seconds. He's the only man to ever knock out two former or current heavyweight champions in under 30 seconds. Even when he was past his best he still mustered a KO win over multiple time title challenger Fres Oquendo. Had he and Ike not had one of the most brutal bouts in history Tua would of won a belt.
Byrd makes Pete look like fool. Who has he KO'd ? A spent, shot Maskaev, and,Of course, This content is protected . Had they had the 3 knockdown rule in effect,he loses to McCline.
To utter the name Peter and the name Tyson in the same post, much less the same sentense, should be a bannable offense. Peter is as far from Tyson as Corrie Spinks is from Sonny Liston. Brewster and Tua were both much more Tyson like than the clubbing, limited and amateurish Peter ever was. Rewatch Tua take Ruiz and Moorer out..........rewatch Brewster take Golota and Krasniqi out. Those guys were no Tyson, no, but they were both much closer to Tyson than Peter. Good GOD, Punisher. You are getting delusional in your old age. LOL Peter is not what the division craves, as he's too unskilled, and he has proven to not be the devastating puncher his handlers were hyping him to be. His main draw was his supposed devasting power, which has not been as effective against the upper tier heavies. Peter is no more a KO artist than any Eddie Chambers is. LOL Peter's power at the upper tier heavyweight level has proven to be a big flop. Probably more cause he can't deliver it, and less cause he lacks the strength/power in his punches. Too unskilled and amateurish to ever really be a great heavyweight.
